hall of fame for great americans

everyone should see this. it is the original hall of fame in the USA. busts of many great Americans. sits on the national historic landmark of CUNY's Bronx Community College with many historic buildings surrounding it.

On the former NYU campus, now known as Bronx Community College is a wonderful fun learningopportunity for the entire family. Overlooking the Manhattan coast line is a hall with over 90 bronze bust of famous Americans made by famous American artist. You can make a game of identifying as many of the famous bust as you can. I did ok, but I have some homework to do.The bronze bust and walk way are beautiful and you can assign homework to the kids to research some of the more notable Americans. It is a wonderful way to spend time while waiting for The Bronx Zoo to open in the morning. It is interesting, exciting and free.

Wow, the original Hall of Fame. Almost no one knows this exists. It is in a beautiful location overlooking the river and on a college campus -- formerly NYU but now Bronx Comm. College. It is free, so if you are in the Bronx, stop by for an hour.
