I just love this library. They have a large large print section and the new book section has a great section. The employees are always a delight!

Sandy is the best librarian. The rest of staff terrific also. They go way out of the way to help people!!

This library was quiet when I went. Nice calm atmosphere and a cute children's room in the basement. There is a lot of space and many different sections and floors. The building is also very historical and it's on a pretty quiet street

The library looks like a little house. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have computers you can use. Because the library is small the selection is also small. But if you request a book they don't have, they'll try to order it from another library in the system.

There is an updated system for books - now we can't find anything on our own. Computers are now by reservation only, so you have the usual visitors parked there all day. We used to look up books on them. They've done away with the cliff notes books, which are really helpful study guides. Also, hours have been curtailed significantly, so now we feel it's worth the drive to Barnes and Noble instead.

After being in Dutchess County for many decades,I still appreciate the litle things that come from living in a a small town.The library has more than an adequate collection of books on the shelves.When ordering books online,they arrive reasonably quick and always recieve a phone call to let me know it has arrived.I have purchased dozens of books from their area of used books for sale. I give a donation each time and many times bring the books back for sale again.The service at the desk is always polite,proficient and a pleasure.Keep it up!

I visit this library primarily when I am doing some historical research on businesses that I work on in the area. It's a small, quaint library with limited resources, but the library historian is very helpful in searching their archive materials.

This is a small but helpful library. While its size might appear to limit its collection, any book not immediately available can be acquired at the site from a wide network of connected libraries. We generally call ahead requesting books and they alert us when to retrieve them! You will enjoy the character of this library.
