There is not one dish we have tried that hasn't been excellent. The prices are terrific, the portions suitable for sharing and the staff is super nice. You MUST try this local restaurant in Forest Hills.

My husband and I tried almost all of their appetizers, which are easily shared by two, and most of their daily specials. We can honestly say that the food is excellent, prepared to perfection, and taking advantage of their daily "Happy Hour" specials is an added incentive.

I moved to Forest Hills in April 2013 and this wine bar / restaurant opened around the same time. In fact, it was the first place I tried in my new neighborhood. Lucky me!It is a modest size place, maybe 20 tables and 10 to 12 seats at the bar. It is casual but a little more elegant than most of the other local bars. A lot of people at the bar seem to enjoy the selection of wines. I am not a wine drinker but they also have a great selection of quality beers. The bartenders are very knowledgeable and can steer you to the wine or beer that might suit your taste. The food is very competent. I've had both dinner and brunch here several times, I never had anything I did not like. Everything is well prepared. On the other hand, I have never had anything here worth raving about either. The menu selection is somewhat limited but they usually add 2 or 3 good daily specials.They have a jazz brunch on weekends. Again, the food is good and prepared well. Everything is a la carte so it comes out a little bit more expensive than some of the other neighborhood bars that offer an egg dish and one or two drinks for $15 - $17. Brunch is pretty crowded, there is usually a wait. Along with that crowd comes a lot of chatter so it is sometimes hard to enjoy the jazz. Still, any music is better than no music, right?All in all, this is one of the best places in Forest Hills.
