ritz theater

We went this time for a play about Lucy & Ricky Riccordo, which was fun, but seemed to run longer then it needed to. The "Theater" is actually the Lobby, so more work needs to be done. We also visited the Ritz for a Buckey Pizzarelli show about 3 years ago, and that was Great Jazz.Hope someday to see the actual theater open to the shows.

As part of Newburgh Illuminated 2014. We attended a new play, Lucy Illuminated, at the Ritz theater on Broadway in lower Newburgh. It was a play about Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez. It was a nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon and we enjoyed the production and the two actors who brought Lucy & Desi to life. We hope that the Ritz Theater will continue to stage productions and hope that there will continue to be support from the community.
