We did the North Street kayak trip. Very helpful, knowledgeable staff! The equipment is excellent and we had a great time! I would highly recommend! From the first phone call to inquire of a kayak to fit one member of our group that is 6'7" and over 300 pounds, to our arrival and rental, the service was exceptional! The beauty and serenity of this trip down the river is incredible! Would love to do it again soon!!

Rented kayaks from Mountainman, who brought a short drive out of town from where we paddled back to the rental place. We decided for the shorter trip from North Street. The trip back can be made in 2,5 hours, but we spent 4-5 hours following the stream, swimming from the banks and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Though this was in July, we only met a few other people. The river runs through pure wilderness - we didn't hear or see any sings of civilization on the way, which is quite amazing having driven only about 10 minutes from town. Highly recommended tour for anyone visiting the Adirondacks. We got great service from Mountainman.
