I have been here many times and the food is either very good or terrible. It actually seems that the larger the group you are with the poorer the service. If I just go with my wife, food and service is generally OK.
We take the children all the time. Its a bit pricey. Bowling is fun. Adult time is limited to drinking at the bar or a meal. We are not comfortable with the bar scene so we have not dined at the bar and grill. Stale beer smell is not my scent. Mini golf kids love. Great sponsor or softball and baseball.
The sign out front of the Good Times facility states "Half off bowling on Sunday". Those exact words have been there for over a week. So, today, for our first visit there, my husband and I took our grandchildren there in hopes of a couple of games of bowling and then stay for something to eat at one of their restaurants. MUCH to our disappointment, we were told there was no open bowling today due to a benefit going on.Not only was that disappointing but also false advertising. So, on their part it did work, it got us in there and because our grandchildren are 6 and 8 we let them play in the arcade for a little bit. Now, let me tell you....that place is a definite rip-off. The games are set up so that it is difficult to win, and if the kids are lucky enough to get something, the prize certainly isn't worth the money that was paid out...... And if they get tickets to redeem for a prize, the prizes available are the cheapest, junkiest, worthless plastic things .....not sure, but possibly, a carnival has better prizes!Needless to say, we were all disappointed, so much so that we didn't stay to eat!
We have eaten at both the Hammerback and the Pointe. The Pointe was amazing but the Hammerback's new menu was not impressive. I would happily go back to the Pointe for sure. Bowling and putt putt were both fun.
There are three restaurants here. The Point is the higher end. Great food at reasonable prices. Not crowded although parking lot was. Good home cooking. Going back soon!
Myself and my son (who is autistic) went to bowl. My son has never bowled before, and it has been years since I have. So neither one of us is any good. We had people on each side of us snickering at us. ??? I was shocked to experience bullying, in what is supposed to be a family friendly atmosphere. I contacted the owner about it, and never heard a word. So they could care less that patrons make fun of an autistic child. As long as they make a profit! Well, SCREW YOU Good Times!!!!!!!!
I went with my family, 3 kids and my husband .We had a package for one game of bowling, miniature golf and free refills on and softdrinks refills for 10$ each.person.Great value for a few hours out with the kids.It was very clean and had a fun time! The bowling lane has a flatscreen and a touchscreen that keeps score and shows your turn! The waitress was very prompt with bringing our refills and offered a menu but we had lunch already. There is also a nice gameroom and other activities according to the season. There were several restaurants there too. Now the only negative and reason I cant give 5 stars is the miscommunication that occur with the package. We were given a slip for our refills and told to take it to the Bar and grill Hammerhead I believe its called. So we go to the bar and she really has no idea who to go to for beverage which is ok maybe she is new and had never encountered a package deal. She instructed us to take it to the waiting station but it seemed as though the girls there didnt quite know what to do.We ordered our drinks after feeling confusion on both of our parts. Im not sure of the names, I wouldnt want to post that anyway. So as we are leaving she says one moment ill be back with your check and we thought ok...we shouldnt have one but she was speedy to get back to her station. We used the restroom and then my husband went to check out the game room to see what they had and she comes running out to the front desk saying those people left without paying, very loudly as my husband explained it. My husband had said Hello Im right here but we had already paid for the package and the man at the front desk confirmed. I explained also we were given a slip that we had given to the girls at the waitstation. She asked for our receipt ofcourse after a day of shopping and fun my husband had it in one of his many pockets and had found it as we were leaving.Well she said we'll figure it out. It just left me with not a good feeling, this is very serious as a customer to be accused of.not paying your bill...people have been arrested for that not to mention a little embarassing. It was unsettling. So a very nice place. We will go again it is very fun and had a lot to offer. I.just hope this was a one time thing. We have learned to always keep your receipt in an obvious place if your going to Good Times or any other establishment. You never know, usually its not needed but mistakes happen.
This place is a must for a family. With Bowling, Mini Putt, an Arcade, and other fun indoor activities, there is something for everyone. The Pub was very well priced, and the quality of food was very good. You definitely will not leave hungry. There is also an "upscale" restaurant there, but it was just getting finished with its renovations, so we were unable to experience that, but it did look very nice from what we could see. The next time we are in town, Good Times with be one of the first stops
This establishment offers something for everyone. A great assortment of menus, indoor and outdoor fun and an atmosphere that is comfortable , especially for families.
Very nice accommodations for a birthday party bash. Good food, good service. We were given a lovely room for the celebration of our aunt's 90th birthday.
For starters, all food is supplied by Cysco. Savagely over-priced. Hillbillies everywhere, rude & offensive employees! Obviously mismanaged. Never again.
My first visit to this restaurant was a welcome treat in the Olean, NY area. The food was GREAT! A nice assortment on the menu, quick service. The wait staff was professional, friendly and welcoming.
Service was very slow, but I do eat off peak times. I got a Reubin, as I will always try your Ruebin. It was too greasy. It was my first time there. I will try them again. Anything Blackened there is heavily pepper spiced.
This place is great. It is a huge indoor space with games like corn hole, ping pong, four square and they have an outdoor area with giant beer pong and beach volleyball. It is surrounded by about 12 softball fields. We went there with a softball team and our families. They easily accommodated our huge group. The service wasn't the best we've had, but it wasn't too bad. The food was good. It has a big bar next to the games area. They hold concerts in there too. Attached is a higher end restaurant but I believe the hours are limited to Friday, Saturday and Sunday dinner time (or could be Thursday, Friday, Saturday). Anyway, we had a blast!!! And the Olean Synergy Softball Tourney was great too!!!
I only visited the burger place inside, did not get to check out the other portions of the building. The food was good and priced appropriately. The bartenders were OK, it took a little bit longer to get some service at a near empty bar. It seemed the locals had some conversations with the bartenders, drawing their attention away from the other groups at the bar. I still was served in a timely manner, and the beer/food was good. Overall, I would definitely return.
