Many times I think, "I'll just go in and browse" - not to buy anything. But most every time I come out having bought something. So many gift items to choose from.....plus I usually find a little "gem" for myself! Beautiful setting and wonderful owners and staff!
They have anything you could think of from Maine. The view is to die for. They really don't have beaches, it's just rocky coast, but still beautiful to see
A really nice gift shop that has so much to offer including handmade items from local Maine artists. Something for everyone with reasonable prices. If you happen to be in this area stop in. You will not be disappointed.
Stunning view from the deck and grounds of the gift shop. An excellent selection of knick-knacks and novelties of a local theme. Great FUDGE sold here. I stop here every time we visit the area. I always pick-up a few Christmas tree decorations and a novelty grab bag gift or two. This year was a pair of Moose earmuffs. Someone in the office is sure going to be LUCKY!
Huge selection of wares on two floors! Just to mention a few: books, candles, Maine hand-made wreaths and sea glass lamps, T-shirts, sweatshirts, stained glass window decorations, nautical things, tourist trinkets like key chains and refrigerator magnets, this place has it all. Located at the end of the road, overlooking the ocean and outlying islands, it's worth the drive. Stay on established paths to the rocks and beach: There is lots of poison ivy.
Loved this place! My favorite gift shop of all. Wish I could have bought more. I was surprised with how many beautiful items they had there, being that it is at the end of an island. Can't wait to go back someday.
Great gift shop and great views. Every time we come here I park my butt on one of the great rocking chairs and enjoy the ocean. I don't care how long she shops! Lots of inexpensive things for the grandkids to purchase inside and a nice little beach for them to search for shells and sea glass outside.
Loved this shop, it is huge with plenty of things to buy. The view from the porch is breathtaking! It is beautiful. The fudge is AMAZING!!! If u love fudge you must buy it. I only bought one thing of it and I wish I bought more :( I would come back just for the fudge :)
If you are looking for souvenirs, this is the end of the road. Wide variety of trinkets and Maine souvenirs. Great views off the front porch!
We never even entered the gift shop, we were too entranced by scrambling over the rocks to get an amazing view out to sea. As others have written, the drive is lovely (but long) from Route 1, as you wend your way toward's land's end. There's also a great pebbly beach to explore tidepools, look for shells, etc. We struck up a conversation with a woman from Bangor on her annual pilgrimage to Land's End. It's her favorite coastal spot. What a recommendation!
Great, large gift shop at the end of Bailey Island. Beautiful views!! They have everything there - and prices are very fair! (They only offer porto-potties, but they were actually really clean.)
The ride from Freeport along winding roads to Bailey Island is wonderful.....Great views of the lobster boats, of the ocean and of everything nautical. The Land's End Gift Shop is really at the land's end. When you can drive no further, you have reached this gem of a shop. Spend time exploring the aisles and then go upstairs for more nautical things. The best part is the view from the deck attached to the Gift Shop. Pull up an Adirondack chair and enjoy the view.
Literally located at the very end of a very scenic road, you have no choice but to at least get out in the parking lot and admire the views at the tip of this rocky Maine Coast island. There's plenty to photograph in the little park like area around the shop, and there are plenty of locally made items inside to delight the shop-a-holic who you might have brought with you to enjoy the drive.
I loved this store. It was surrounded by the most spectacular scenery in the world, and it sold everything imaginable! I collect Christmas ornaments when I travel and this place did not disappoint. I also bought quite a few local crafted gifts for family and friends, including some outstanding Maine blueberry jam. The prices were reasonable and we spent a couple of hours, shopping and then sightseeing in this beautiful area. Highly recommended by us!
You can find just about everything here at this friendly helpful gift shop. There is an upstairs that holds clearance items. Delicious fudge and when you spend a certain amount, you get a free pound. The parking lot is small and the bathroom facilities are a walk up the road. There are chairs to sit and enjoy the ocean views and look at the fisherman sculpture.
