spring meadows golf course

This course is one of the best in the area. I make it a point to get out here at least once a season. The conditions are always good and the course is challenging enough.

Nice course right in Gray and the beer cart is great. Decent prices, beautiful views and a decent sandwich and beer spoot for after the round.

Odd fairways felt like you were walking on sponges. After playing Poland Springs the day before we were disappointed with runout of our balls.Wanted to order some sandwiches to take out onto the course, asked the bartender for a menu and he pointed to a chalk board behind the bar. He wasn't very friendly but the young lady working there told us she could make us tuna, egg or chicken salad. We ordered 2 sandwiches and they were freshly made and plenty of filling for $4 each. Course was crowded but a slow foursome in front of us let us play through but still took 4 1/2 hours for the 2 of us. Had a Links Card special rate but won't be going back.

terrific food, and courteous service. very popular but never over crowded.
