Our introduction to Scrummy Afters was for a brunch in their event room overlooking the Kennebec River. It was a great place to host 25 adults even though it's obviously geared to a kid crowd. The owner was very accommodating as we set up our catered brunch buffet and bar. There's a big screen television that we were able to use to view a short movie we brought on our laptop, which was a fun bonus. The table and seats are limited, but for a standing, circulating group, it's a good arrangement. Just a really cute, interesting, centrally located spot for a small party. There's even a selfie photo booth and secret door! What's not to love??

Always a treat -- and I haven't even scored a Golden Ticket! Scrummy's has everything I dream of -- and so much more! It fills all my stockings and then gives me even more for under the tree (as well as a goody or two for myself). Overwhelmingly fantastic, in every aspect!

Walking down memory lane seeing every candy from your childhood displayed in an amazing way. Even if you don't like candy- go. Whimsical gag gifts, candy by the item or scoop into a bag and pay by weight. Every time we go here its new and even better than before. Amazing experience!

We could see bubbles coming from the storefront from across the street how fun. Then when we opened up the door WOW candy land. They have done an amazing job decorating and filling this store with every kind of candy you can think of. We could have stayed for hours just looking. They have a display of surprise bags for $1.50 if you can't make up your mind or just like the idea of a surprise bag. We left with 2 big bags filled with chocolates to take to the movies with us. They have an amazing back room to book for parties.
