Went to see a stage show (The Blues Brothers) ans was truly impressed at how far this place has come. The renovations are great and the Stadium is now a wonderful place to go for a show. And there's even free parking. Head to the Stadium. You won't be disappointed
Four of us ordered tickets to see Dave Mason's Traffic Jam concert May 16, 2014. Dave, 68 years old, showed little sign of aging. He and 3 band mates took us on a journey through the early years of Traffic, opening with a jumping "40,000 Headmen". Backed by early photos of Traffic's first apartment building and makeshift stage they played all their hits. After a brief break he returned to play his other hits, closing with rousing "Dear Mr. Fantasy", "All Along the Watchtower", and "Feeling All Right". A great show, great local restaurants, parking, and good people made this a fun night for all.
Great venue, beautiful interior and great acoustics...all seats are good...Classic theater layout... We went to see the Fab Faux ... Just a great show and really loved the theater, ease of getting in and out, spacious and great refreshment area ...
We saw one musical performance, and we were amazed how a large the theater was. Maybe a little to big. It certainly has historic looking character, and we will certainly return for other shows. My row of seats seemed to have less legroom that the rows around me. Parking was in a municipal lot a cross the street which had a high steep grade. We were there after harsh winter weather and it was completely icy which made me wonder if our car would slide into a parked car. Somehow we made it out of there safely.
Just went to see Les Miserable there and it was awesome, great price also. My grand kids just went to see Perter Pan which was put on by Mount ST. Charles students and they loved it.
The Stadium is a beautifully restored old theater. It hosts wonderful community theater productions as well as other performing artists. They sometimes have an afternoon performance on the original pipe organ.
Really beautiful theater with Vegas quality shows at a very reasonable price, and always a good seat.
Just a few days ago I went to the Stadium for the second time; the time prior to this was years and years ago. I went to see the 1923 silent film depiction of The Hunchback of Notre Dame with an accompanying organist. It was an awesome experience; lots of fun. The theatre is absolutely gorgeous and well kept. Lovely atmosphere. For this evening out, it was only $10/person and it seems that most of the shows that go the the theatre are very affordable. They also have a concession stand and a bar. I hope to go back sooner, rather than later!
Equal to providence, better parking, cheaper, very clean renovated historic theater.they have excellent shows.
I have gone to many different events at the theater since the renovations began. Just looking at the art work and wood work is worth the visit. They have a new sound system and any event sounds great. Last year we saw a Christmas Carol and I also have gone to a few Oldies shows.Worth the visit
Excellent evening of dining, entertainment and gift purchasing during the silent and live auctions. This is one of the theatres fund raisers and it always has a great turnout for the event. The location of the theatre makes it easy to get to and plenty of parking opportunities at no cost .
Seats 1,000 Newly restored to its 1926 glory! Entertaianment for everyone all year long. All volunteers are so kind and courteous and always smiling. I guess that they're really proud of the theater.
You can't beat the price for the good shows you see there. It's easy to get too and there is plenty of parking. Great value.
Whether you are satisfied with the show you went to see, you have got to love the venue. We have enjoyed all of the shows we have seen here. Take advantage of the free movies when they come around. If you like the Stooges there is the great free marathon in January
Saw the Christmas show here last year is a fantastic historical site and they have some great shows!
