heritage hill golf course

We happened upon this course & what a JEWELL !! Arriving in the lot, a cart arrived, clean, with fresh towels, & the attendant put our bags on the cart. The VERY reasonable price, especially for this well designed, well managed, beautiful course. There are holes with water, hills, & the scenery is breathtaking. The fairways are scattered out, & no 2 holes are even similar. Each of the 18 holes, have unique challenges, with multiple TEE Boxes, for different levels of challenge. If anyone makes negative comments about this course, they must be jealous.

This was one of, if not the best courses I played this year. Tee Boxes, Fairways, Traps and Greens were in great condition. Great layout with many tee positions to fit your handicap. Excellent value using the Tee Time Pass Book. You must play this course.

Great Golf Course. Well manitained and the Staff is excellent. Military Friendly, never had a bad experience at Heritage Hills. Recommend you book a Tee Time and enjoy the Scenery.

Have been looking forward to playing this course for awhile. This past Sunday, a friend and I booked a round through GolfNow.com. $40 per person Includes green fees, cart and bucket of range balls. Shot 81.The course is located in a developing neighborhood. I did not see any new construction underway. I had heard previously that the development was struggling.Easy 20-25 minute drive from Louisville. First impression was wow they have this big old house for a clubhouse. No. The clubhouse is a metal structure. First thing you see is the cart barn. Inside clubhouse is nice. Staff was very friendly they great you in the parking lot with a cart and load your clubs. Bar Staff is also very friendly. Practice range is small. Not much depth. Easily hitting balls through range into a field. You have to get a token for range ball machine. No baskets available at machine. Had to walk 100 yards to practice to retrieve a basket. Practice tee was in decent shape. Needed to be mowed. Grass was high.Course is a great layout. That was about it. Tee boxes needed mowing. Broken tees everywhere on tee boxes. No sand to fill divots on tees. Tee shot is very important on every hole. Miss fairway by 20-30 feet good luck finding your ball is two foot high weeds and grass. No room for error. If your a hacker bring plenty of balls. Greens could be challenging. Slow! And full of ball marks, dead spots from incorrectly fixed ball marks and . I must have fixed 4-5 per hole. This course needs to invest in maintenance and grounds crew. I would not pay more than $40 unless they make some improvements. It could regain its reputation as top public course in KY or become the finest goat ranch.

Incredibly overpriced golf for the community it sits in. This is a working community that simply can not afford to play here. Sad, this was a horrible concept from the get go!

First of all, they do a great job keeping the course in great shape even during extreme heat. It is a challenging course,definitely not fun for a beginner. Staff is always friendly. Reasonable price for round of golf.

This course is fairly new but it is mature, well maintained, and a real challenge. Book your tee time in advance. There aren't many good courses around so this one gets booked up quickly.

My husband and I visited this course and played a round because we saw other reviews about it and we were not let down! This course was voted the #1 public course in KY by Golf Magazine for 2011! Beautiful scenery and great greens, well maintained course. We are from Colorado and the staff there was really friendly and very informative as well. Highly recommended!
