Wow! What a wonderful experience. Even though we were a little intimidated due to the fact it was our first time on a horse, Matt (and his wonderful horses) made us feel quite comfortable and confident right away. The trail was spectacular and provided a unique alternative to the "car tour" Yellowstone experience. Matt is a very knowledgable horseman and offered much commentary of the surrounding area as we traveled the trail. He took us to one of the most beautiful settings for our lunch break. The views were incredible. My 12 year old daughter highly recommends one of Matt's day trips and says to make sure to ask for "Whiskey" (her favorite horse).

This is a great place to go for an out west adventure. We did not complete our trip due to it got really cold so we cut it short however had an experence we will not forget. We did the pack trip into yellowstone and it was amazing. The trailgucides know the area and are the best cooks trust me you will have great food and lots of it. The back country is breath taking. You can stay in a cabin the day before the trip and the day of your return. Mary is a wonderful host and and the breakfast is great.
