They have had very little snow this season but, they do a great job of preserving what they have. There were plenty of areas for my beginner skiers to be on for the three days we were there. The lift attendants were great. They had three chalets that serve food. The food was good and they have large portions. The place was really empty during the week. I am sure that is different if there is significant snow. I will take less people any day. Will return for sure next year.

You can't beat the views from the mountain at this place. Bordering Glacier National Park, you see the beautiful mountain range and lakes, with lots of evergreens. Weather hasn't been perfect for skiing but resort has done a very good job of grooming trails and publicizing places to avoid and those best to try.

I absolutely LOVE coming down to Whitefish! Last year we were spoilt with endless powder days so we were a little worried it wouldn't be quite the same this year - but the snow was still really good and it's such a big area you can just rip around and enjoy everything. On a powder day drop into the bowls and through the treesOn days like last week enjoy the bluebird, and try out the park there are 3!The views are stunning - all across the lake and valleys.I must give credit to all the lifties - everyone is always really friendly and helpful. Thanks everyone from the crazy girls in the animal onesies we will see you next year!

I've been skiing for many years and very excited that I now get to live close enough to ski this great resort all season long. It has all levels of terrain so my entire family can take it easy or be challenged if so desired. Give this resort a try, you won't be disappointed unless the Flathead Valley weather moves in and ruins the day. The only negative can be the weather as it will get socked and/or extremely cold in at times, but you find this at most mountain resorts. If you can hit Big Mountain, oops, I mean Whitefish Ski Resort, on a nice day it's heavenly.

This is a great ski area. I skied on a weekend with no lift lines and a nice local atmosphere. Fun and varied terrain with glades, steeps, cruisers, good drops for the experts and decent vertical (so the runs were pretty long). The mountain is bigger than you would expect and it would take a few days to ski every run. I can imagine on a powder day it would be amazing.

I love how many runs there are here, there really is something for everyone. I also like how they have a lodge at the bottom of the hill and the top, it makes it so easy to catch a break when your legs feel like rubber. In my limited skiing experience it seemed like the runs were longer than what I'm use to at other resorts. That was both good and bad as there was less time spent on the lifts but more time recuperating at the lodges in between. We ended up at the backside of the mountain eventually and that's where our favorite runs were. It was warmish when we were there so the morning was icy and the afternoon was slushy so the backside had way better conditions since it was out of the direct sun.

Great resort with fantastic skiing for beginners to expert. Beautiful views of Glacier National Park from the top of the mountain. Even though there was no recent snow there had been enough through the season to get by. Freezing temperatures at night and plus during the day made it skiable around 10:30am through until 4:00. Great value skiing and whitefish is just a generally good place to be.

From the price to the terrain to the service I am always so impressed with this resort. You wont be disappointed here. The value is incredible for the amount of terrain you get. Not to mention they added a new chairlift with a bunch of new terrain. That is awesome!!! Always impressed with the service you get here and how welcoming the staff is. Everyone is just happy to be here! Also if you aren't a skier or snowboarder then you should come here in the summer time. It has zip lining and mountain biking as well as scenic chairlift rides. It is a great place to go and enjoy yourself and the outdoors.

Unfortunately, the snow was disappointing. Rock hard ice, except where it had been groomed. I am told this was a fluke for February - I might go back someday if I know there will be fresh snow. The area is beautiful, Glacier National Park is nearby, and the town of Whitefish is cute and trendy.

Well groomed, super helpful and nice people, lots of mountain to ski with a variety of levels. There are lockers for keeping skis and boots overnight. I had my skis waxed and they did a great job. They could improve their food options.

Had a great time skiing but it rained a few days. So many trails to choose from. I especially like the drop off area- that is convenient and access to the ski area is quick. I also like the summit area where they have all facilities available. Backside of mountain always good. We bought our tickets at Costco - in Lethbridge and then Kalispell. Great pricing and better value than some of our Canadian ski destinations. Would like to go back again - 2nd time we have been there.

Lots of good terrain to ski with a friendly town only 15 minutes away. The scenery of Glacier Park is unbelievable on a clear day.

This is easily one of our favourite ski resorts. On this trip, the weather was unseasonably warm which made for spring-like conditions in February! Though that made for crusty and/or slushy snow, it also was absolutely beautiful skiing under the sunny blue skies and being able to see the full 360 degree view from the top. And there was still plenty of snow depth so that all of our favourite back side runs were open, including George's Gorge. Fantastic day of skiing!

We loved pretty much everything here. Even the rental experience was swift and cheerful. The staff really noticed us as we rented 3 pairs of Snowblades! First time sking in Usa, hope to go back soon. Buying the ticket in Costco in canada was a good way save the exchange with the US dollar these days. We did 5 lifts out of 11 , we are not done yet!
