We liked that it was a Quaint little visitors center right in town. Lots of restaurants and activities were suggested, including a self-guided tour of the town's historical sites.

This center has lots of the usual leaflets and information that you would expect to see in a visitor center. It is nicely laid out and information is easy to find. The assistant was extremely nice and very helpful and she took real efforts to point out local attractions that may be of interest to us.

Good place to get information and the walking tour brochure. Be sure to sign up for a Mystery Tour to explore tales and lore of the town.

Lots of information and lovely volunteers. We got firsthand information about shops and restaurants. Also discussed some of the shows being presented at the Theater Festival. Well worth the visit there.

Very friendly and lots of info on the town. Even had menus for many of the town restaurants. Loved the pamphlet they put out on the history of the town and the map identifying the historic sites.

Our first stop of our day in Shepherdstown was the visitors center, We were planning to do a historic walking tour and needed to get a condensed version because the one I downloaded online was 10 pages long. The lovely lady who was manning the desk was very help and kind. Make this your first stop, too.
