There was a gentleman who regularly visits Mike before the games. We were there right before a basketball game and the gentleman began playing with him. Mike recognizes him and chases him back and forth as the gentleman runs past the enclosure.
How many colleges can claim a live tiger as their mascot. You gotta see this. He walks his cage and you can get a selfie with him.
Wow! Had a great time seeing mike in person. He was sleep when he arrived but he soon woke up and gave us a show! He got into the water and it was great! The children were the ones who really enjoyed it.
Nice to see a mascot so well taken care of. Habitat is wonderful. Mike is well displayed and protected
This is definitely a place to stop before a game. If Mike is out he is very impressive. Don't go just before the game but early before they move him.
The day we went to see Mike he was very active. He walked around the entire pen and even swam in his pool and played with his ball for us. It was a great outing for the younger children, and the older ones enjoyed watching the athletes work out on the bottom floor of Tiger Stadium right across. the lane.No charge for either one!
We have visited Mike for years. Actually not even the same Mike every time, that's how long. It is a hit and miss if you catch the current Mike in the mood for visitors. He is a little shyer than the Mikes of the past. However, he seems to feel at home in his habitat.
This is a very cool feature of the LSU campus! It's a great place to go for a run and stop by the tiger exhibit! He also has a really cool Instagram @miketigervi in case you can't see him in person!
It is so nice to take friends and family to see the LSU mascot! It is a beautiful habitat and there is a gift shop close by.
Nothing to dislike unless Mike is indoors when you visit. The place is really awesome and right outside Tiger Stadium.
Lots of viewing area and Mike likes to play outside. He also likes his wading pool which is right next to the glass. He seems to like children. Don't choose this as a meeting place on days when there is something going on at the stadium or P-Mac. Everybody does.
Mike has an awesome habitat and I can understand his hesitancy to leave the comfort of his home on some game nights!
Be certain to stop by and say hello to the LSU Bengal Tiger Mascot on a warm sunny day and perhaps you will get a chance to see him swimming in his pool. It is awesome to see how large he is up close.
The habitat is just outside the stadium. We take the grandkids regularly to see Mike and take a walk to the Indian Mounds on a nice day. Usually Mike is just sleeping but we have seen him come over and swim up to the window where the girls could get a good look.
Beautiful multimillion $ "cage" habitat. He is a beautiful tiger and it is fun to watch him swim, preen, and sleep. My grands LOVE to go and there is a bronze tiger statue that they can crawl on the back of for pictures!
