We had a great time paddle boating but of course it was the day after Christmas so all of that was our own fault. Beautiful mountain, we climbed it as a family, it was worth it in the end. If we do it again it will be in the spring. Helpful staff and gorgeous views

Off season visit and you can rent a pontoon boat for a fraction of the cost. It was 85 degrees and a hand full of people in the lake. Took a cooler with food and drinks and enjoyed the afternoon. A beautiful lake!

The most fun part of our trip is feeding the huge carp. The climb all over each other to get the food. Then you must take the boat out to Sugar Loaf Mountain and climb the 540 feet above the lake level. The views are breathtaking. Take water, insect repellant, walking/climbing shoes, and your camera.

The swim part of the marina was nice, uncrowded and cold but the Prices of boat rentals was really high! Same goes for paddle boards.

Lots of fun experiences available at a reasonable price.Little ones like feeding the fish off the dock and using the paddle boats. Big kids had fun with the ski boats.Rental for the boats and equipment reasonable. Very friendly and helpful staff kept the experience fun.Red Apple lunch on the dock made it a memorable day for whole family

Loved it! They had very helpful, knowledgable staff to assist with fishing license. We fed the fish & took the ferry out to Sugar Loaf Mountain which was all surprisingly affordable.

Mick put us on big hybrids the first 15 minutes on the water & then kept us on the fish. We barely went 5 minutes w/o a fish on. Great equipment, great guide, beautiful lake & scenery & awesome fishing! You won't find a better fresh water trip anywhere!

Gorgeous views with great fishing with guide Capt. Mick Pratt! Nice boat & tube rentals with friendly staff.

We stayed at the Fairfield Bay resort for a week and made several trips down to the marina. They say there is a "swimming area" but we couldn't find it. That's ok since we went when the water was a little too cold for us to swim anyway. Loved feeding the snorting carp at the dock and we took a fishing boat out for a joy ride. It was affordable at about $65 for a 4 hour rental. Attempted to fish but weren't very lucky. Marty was very helpful and friendly and knowledgeable...I think his nickname is Moose(?). The ladies in the store were friendly and informative about rules/regs on the lake. Overall, nice place and we enjoyed our time there.

The marina at Fairfield Bay is an excellent source of supplies for fishing, local regulations, boating needs and friendly service. Although the weather was nasty during the week we were there, I was able to get fishing license and information on where the fish would have been biting. There are several fishing guides that work out of the marina and there are plenty of boats to rent. The marina is 5-6 miles from the Wyndham Resort and the roads challenge your driving skills on mountain curves and hills. A detailed Fairfield Bay map available and suggested. There are signs directing you to the marina, but it's easy to get lost when you leave. If you stay at Wyndham, I highly recommend using the marina. It deserves an A+ rating.

Friendly folks and has everything you might need. Little Red Cafe is located there and has killer BBQ Nachos. We keep our boat there and they have good security. Not the fanciest, but a solid marina
