Lovely small town in the foothills of the Ozarks. Recreation included fishing, boating on three lakes or on the Strawberry River. Also, they have a bowling alley, several restaurants, two resorts, a marina with a sandy recreation/picnic area, two golf courses and a mini golf for kids and family, tennis courts, shuffle board, public outdoor pool and two indoor pools and exercise rooms and a children's playground, softball field. Quiet, safe town where you can bring your kids, or just relax for awhile! Wildlife everywhere, they are not afraid of humans-deer, turkey, fox, geese, birds and flowers. Friendly folk at the businesses and residents and the July 4 entertainment was fun. Crown Lake is 640 acres of sun and fun for swimming, fishing, tubing or just enjoying the mild weather. ラスベガスから足を伸ばして、グランドキャニオンへと向かう途中に寄りました。車を降り、緩やかな砂地の斜面をしばらく歩くと、そこには息を呑む広大な景色が・・・！この場所についての前知識が無かったのも大きかったかもしれません。でも、青くそこまでも広がった空の下、見が竦むほどの深い底には大きすぎる蹄型の湖。まさしく地球の偉大さを全身で感じました。グランドキャニオン程の派手さ？はないけれど、ぜひ一見していただきたいオススメの場所です。
