I very rarely go to spas but received a $60 gift certificate for this place for Christmas. I am a male. Courteous, professional staff. Soothing music, quiet setting, near edge of lake. I chose the 'Indian foot detox.' Indian meaning Far East. I was offered an herbal decaf tea while waiting. Nice robe and slippers. Very clean place. Sherri was my masseuse and she did a wonderful job. I asked for an eye cover and she put a eucalyptus, warm, cover on my tired eyes. She worked on my feet, knees, neck and head. Busy place, you will probably need an appointment.

This is absolutely one of my favorite places to go! The staff always makes you feel welcome and they treat you with the utmost respect! This visit I was treated to a massage and facial and it was amazing, Sherri is my favorite! I always plan my visit when she is working. It's such a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing place, a place that makes me very happy! Thanks to my sweet family, gift certificates always come in handy! This place is worth the drive!!!

This was a marvelous spa experience! I was greeted with a cold cucumber water before my massage, and given a cold lemon water right afterward. I truly felt pampered. My massage therapist, John, was superb and I was truly floating on air by the end of the massage. I highly recommend the bio-mat treatment! I didn't think it was overly priced and since the treatment I booked included bio-mat as well as sound therapy I felt that it was worth every penny! I'll be going back!!

I am torn between rating this spa as a 3 or a 4 but decided to go with 4 because of the lovely, peaceful setting. Although I have been here a couple of times in the past, it had probably been at least four or five years since my last visit and several changes had been made, most notably that they have added a salon downstairs and have moved their nail services to the salon. On the plus side, I think that Turtle Cove looks and feels exactly like a spa should. It is tranquil and quiet and has a gentle atmosphere. My friend who had a massage was very pleased with her service. On the other hand, I had a pedicure and that was the minus. Moving the nail services to the salon makes this an entirely different experience than it was in the past. Previously, getting a pedicure here felt like getting a true spa service because it was in the spa and had the same tranquil atmosphere. Now, it is in a normal beauty salon. Which is okay, unless you are expecting -- and paying for -- a salon treatment. Cost is the other minus here. Despite the location at a lake resort in very rural Arkansas, the prices are similar to those in surrounding cities like Houston, Dallas and Memphis. Frankly, a pedicure in a beauty salon should cost half what it does at Turtle Cove. So I paid twice what the pedicure was worth ... and it wasn't even a great pedicure. I've gotten much better pedicures with "extras" like hot stone massage and warm wax treatments for half of what I paid here. So my take on Turtle Cove is that if you are looking for a beautiful spa setting and a spa service like a massage or facial, this is a wonderful choice, especially if you are staying at the resort. But if you are driving a considerable distance for a spa experience, don't book the nail services or at least be aware that you'll pay for the spa but the experience will be more like a typical nail salon.

I've been privileged to try spas all over the country and you won't find better services than those available here. Their staff is wonderful and very attentive. My appointments have always been on time and the quality of services excellent.If you are planning a visit to the resort, call for an appointment before your arrival to get the best available times. Weekends especially book up early. I learned that the hard way when I couldn't get in. I highly recommend the outdoor couples message during Fall and Spring. It's done in an outdoor covered pavilion near the lake with nothing but woods surrounding you.

Got up on my day off and drove 1 1/12 one way to enjoy the Turtle Cove Spa! I have had massages/facials at nice hotels, cruise ships........nothing compares to this little gem! The staff is amazing, the place is so relaxing, you will leave a new person! Everyone is just wonderful, but I absolutely love Sherri. As I drove home, all I was thinking to myself was when can I come back! They have gift cards, so it's nice when my husbands surprises me with one. If you want a little piece of Heaven......visit the Turtle Cove Spa!

As soon as you walk in you can feel it. Wonderfully regenerating atmosphere and skilled staff. They accommodated our large group with extra care. Special thanks to Chana for so much thoughtfulness and special assistance.

Nothing to dislike, I was there for 2 hours, and even my husband who isnt into this kind of stuff ( took for ever to get him to do it) but walked away feeling like a teenager again the kids played in the pool while we took turns they had a blast while we got treated like a king and queen you got to try this if you are at Mountain Harbor.

I have visited this spa MANY times and absolutely LOVE it! It is one of my favorite places to go! The staff is fabulous and the atomosphere is awesome!

My husband had a massage and loved it. The area was tucked away in the woods and had such a quiet and serene feeling. I enjoyed sitting in the reception area listening to the relaxing music.

I'm cheap when it comes to things like this anyway, but it was a little overpriced for me. Good service though.

Loved the experience. Jessica went our of her way to accommodate me and I recommend asking for April. Enjoyed it all!

From the moment we walked in the door we were pampered. After changing into a robe and some of the most comfortable slippers I have ever worn, we were given cucumber water (sounds gross but it was actally refreshing) and hot towels infused with orange essence. Soothing music and the babbling of water running over rocks is heard throughout the spa.My facialist, Sherri, discussed my skin concerns and tailored my treatments to address those...it was AMAZING! After the application of each product, a hot towel was wrapped around my face with only the nose exposed in order to open the pores for deeper penetration. My skin has never felt so smooth, supple and clean in my life. I would also recommend the add-on lip treatment...they still feel silky smooth and it has been 3 days! As if that wasn't enough, my arm, legs, head, feet and neck were all massaged while the various masks were working.My friend and I also had the couples swedish massage in the fireside suite. We were greeted with roses on our tables and toasty warm blankets to snuggle under. Our masseuses were extremeley professional and very effective at working out all the kinks/stress points. We were encouraged to lounge about for as long we wanted and were even given a gift at check out...a bottle of sparkling Apple Martini and an enourmous bar of dark Godiva chocolate. Not only will I go back as often as possible, I will bring friends and family along for the ride!

We went to this spa as a couple but had separate services. We had the sea salt scrub and a session in the steam chamber, plus a wonderful massage. The steam chamber is unique and your head is outside of it, which is great. You are laying down for this. Our massages were fantastic. We would go back to this spa again and wish it was closer to home. What better compliment? The spa is situated in a private, wooded setting. Our lodging was in Hot Springs, but this spa is worth the drive, about an hour from Hot Springs Village. There is loding available at Mountain Harbor Resort, where the spa is located. They have condos, cabins and a motel. All this is on a lake.
