My first time was in October and I had the swedish massage. The lady was wonderful and had me totally relaxed. This time my husband and I did the couples massage and it was just ok. Mine started out pretty good; other than unsure movements at times, but I think midway through the guy thought I was asleep as it just felt like the massage started really lacking. At one point he started doing a face massage which I have never had at any body massage place before, was a little weird for me since I wasn't there for a facial. He started coughing and had to leave the room which kind of made the massage a little less enjoyable, but I understand sometimes people get a tickle in their throat and they have to take care of it, better he step out than keep on coughing his head off. My husband said his was just okay as well, I rarely get him to do a couples massage so he probably won't go back to them. Think next time I am going to have to ask for my first lady by name since she did such a great job. So I am going to guess your experience enjoyability will vary depending on the person who does the service.

I have been a client at Spa Botanica for over six months now, and have nothing but wonderful things to say. It is truly a beautiful place. The relaxation lounge is so peaceful! The massages I have received surpass any I have ever had. The therapists are knowledgeable, talented and simply incredible. The hair salon and its stylists are wonderful, and I will never let anyone else touch my hair again. Their entire staff is kind, considerate and so accommodating. This is THE place to go, if you want to be pampered and taken care of!

I understand that Spa Botanica has a new Spa Director, and although the spa has always been amazing and top notch, it has really been going above and beyond in their quality and customer service. For instance, I got a Brazilian and because I was so nervous (first time) and practically terrified, they really stepped me through the process and the Director met with me and gave me a complimentary Finipil (anti-bacterial cream)! The assortment of teas, trail mixes and fresh fruit are always beautifully prepared and you can even order a glass of wine and have it brought to you (a must for me)! I highly recommend this spa over any other in the NWA area.

Im a recent transplant to NW Arkansas- everyone here recommended this place. OMG!!! Don't expect the upscale pristine experience we were led to believe. My friend's appt was botched and staff person was augmentative and not accommodating.The $60 pedi was nowhere as good as the $30 at the local shopping center. Manicure Clippers were rusty and when we commented were told it was due to tap water build up but not to worry it wouldn't be harmful (not a great first impression of salon). Chairs we were sitting on had chipped paint on arm. Massage was Ok but closer to those prepaid at the local mall.The musty spell in the locker also didn't help....the staff was young and really not tas experienced we were expecting.WOULD NEVER GO BACK. Oh yes- my friend nail chipped within 2 hrs.

My knots are gone! I had a 75 minute deep tissue and it was fabulous. My adult daughter had the Swedish and can hardly walk she is so relaxed. The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. The spa environment is peaceful and truly beautiful. Didn't expect the steam room.....added bonus! Relax and enjoy!

This was my second time visiting the spa while on business and staying at the hotel. The first visit I would have given it 5 stars. I went a few days ago for a massage and scrub and it was wonderful and heavenly. Today I went back for a facial and when I was done I left the room and went back to change and had mascara was underneath my eyes and part of the facial mask was still on my face, but the woman giving me the facial had put a moisturizer over the top of it anyway. The first thing I had to do after my $85 facial was wash my own face! I complained and was brought some make up remover. Disappointing.

Have been here many times over the past few years and every trip gets worse and worse. To start, the spa offers Monday specials. Depending on who answers the phone, he or she may or may not know this. And if they don't know this, they will simply tell you that they don't have any specials. This has happened to me 3 times over the last 2 years. Get it together!!!Also, the waterfall feature that makes sitting and waiting peaceful, the last 2 times I've been, it's not been working or turned on. That's part of the experience. Same with the fresh fruit that they put out that's been missing the last 2 visits. I have literally given up on this place as a "spa." There are plenty of other facilities in the area that will get my money.
