This museum was visited by us on a rainy day, but I would go back on any day. It's a great stop. There is lots of reading to do to take in extra stories of criminals past etc. But there is plenty to look at if you don't feel like reading. Every room was interesting and the tour guide was very good.
Small museum with lots of history. Great place to go for young and old. Be sure to take the guided tour of the house. Hands on stations for children to learn and have fun. Very friendly staff!
I was very impressed with this small museums big ideas. The store front exhibit area was ideal in understanding the olden days. The interactive activities for kids were wonderful, ours were not shy about diving in.
One of the best historical museums we have visited. Clean and uncluttered, laid out well and interesting. The house of the family was included in the tour
we get lost in the history of this place each time we visit....the travelling exhibits set the standard and so blessed to have this place in small-town America.
A neat little museum the shows the history of the area includes an old cage style jail and history of the razor back name. Also attached is a house that shows how the middle class lived in the early 1900s. The museum is no charge and worth an hour of your time.
This is a great little museum for families. Lot's of hands on activities for the kids. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very glad we stopped by during a recent visit to the Rogers area.
The museum shows the history not only of Rogers, but also Monte Ne, which is close by. There is also a room for kids to touch and experience items from the past. Fun and well worth the time.
This is a hands on museum. It has been expended recently, has a lot of Rogers history. It is free, within walking distant of the Daisy Air rife museum. Worth a visit.
This museum is accredited by the National Association of Museums, an honor bestowed on only 5% of museums in the USA. My tour began by viewing the expansion plans. A capital campaign is currently underway to fund this expansion. Current exhibits show many historical facts about Rogers, Arkansas and it's beginning. There are also exhibits for children. SK Clark-Will was my knowledgeable tour guide through the adjacent Hawkins House (attached). This is a must see when visiting the museum. An Old World Christmas tours begin December 1, 2013 and end January 4, 2014.
This is a very nice hands on museum. All the docents were helpful and cheerful. Although small, there are many interesting displays. Can't wait for the expansion they have planned. Very enjoyable, and free.
A very quaint and well set up little museum in the heart of Downtown Rogers, Arkansas. Worth a visit.
Fun hands-on for kids, but smaller than I expected. Looking forward to the expansion. My child enjoyed being put in jail.
I took my children and their friends to the museum today. We ALL enjoyed the exhibits, including the hands on children activities as well as the regular exhibits! Good, clean family fun was had by all:-)
We entered through a soda shop. It was cool to go through and see how it all began. It is things lke that make you apprecaite where things are today.
