The bottle collection dating back over 100 years is cool too. The place used to be even better before it was sold. People seemed more friendly and really into the special water they have. Now it's a bit more commercial and non caring, but still a fun place to visit. Great water too.

We wandered in while walking Central Ave, and it was interesting to learn the history of Mountain Valley Spring Water. It was a neat little stop, nothing cosmic, but with free admission, definitely worth checking out. They offer a free tasting of their water, and some interesting tidbits about their business... I loved the Elvis connection! Do check it out when you're in Hot Springs.

A very cool horse statue made out of water bottles is in the front. For souvenirs if you're driving, can't beat the water. It's cheap, it's labeled, and you can give it to everyone even if they don't drink. I wish I had gotten a whole bunch more.

Very strange. Staff was stand-offish, cool donkey-horse looking sculpture when you walk in the door though. Thankfully, no admission charge. Hours state 10-4 on Saturday, closed prior to posted hours. Nothing really to see here.

How cool is to learn that spring water from your hometown and state is served in the White House, overseas and in a lot of fancy restaurants around the world? That's just a little bit of the interesting facts about MVSW. They have been in business and long time and their water is recognized around the big, fat world. There's a gift shop to take home to use, wear and share with others.

We popped into the visitor center. There are some interesting artifacts and pictures here. It is worthwhile to stop in. And you get some of their excellent water while you are there too.

Nice looking on the inside and we did look around some. We were looking for some water to drink and buy. The lady behind the desk stayed on her cell phone the whole time we were there. She even was kinda glaring at us like we were bothering her by coming in. Buy it at the store and save your time for the other tourist friendly places.

This small visitors center is just down near the end of bathhouse row. It has a small "museum" and gift shop. Lots of shirts for sale but you can also stock up on cases of water.

It is free to visit Mountain Valley Spring Water Visitor Center. They have a small parking lot to the right of the building but the spaces are extremely small so it's very hard to get in & out of the parking spots. But the parking is free also. The Visitor Center is small but a neat experience. We enjoying see their bottle collection of Mountain Valley Spring Water bottles - all shapes and sizes made over the years. The oldest one on display dates back to 1894! See photos. You also can get a free sample of their Spring Water. See photo. According to their brochure, the water is 3500 years old! The water fell as precipitation and journeyed down into the earth then back up again collecting minerals as it traveled before emerging in their protected natural spring. While there, you can buy various sizes of their famous Spring Water or carbonated Sparkling Spring Water....available in traditional glass bottles or newer plastic bottles. See photo. This company has been bottling water since 1871! See photo. They had tables & chairs you could sit at to rest, take a break, and enjoy their water.

We stopped here when we were tired from walking the streets of central avenue. My husband and I both bought a bottle of water. We enjoyed sitting at a table and looking at our surroundings while we drank our water. Now, we know what bottled water to watch for if we want Hot Springs mineral water. We saw lots of this bottled water at various places throughout HotSprings, but we hope we find some near us. The sales lady told us that a distributor is in our area, so we are going to keep a look out for it.

We stopped here looking for the tour. However, they did not have any tours available due to a new production line starting and no one to complete the tours. This still was a good stop for a cold glass/bottle of water. Water was available for free and/or purchase. We bought one regular and one sparkling and wish we had bought more. In addition, we stopped at the water filling station and filled up our glass bottle with hot water to take home and drink once it cooled down.

We loved are whole trip to Arkansas, the Hot Springs area had lots of low cost or no cost things to do, it reminded us of our trips to Colorado and South Dakota back in the 70"s when you could afford to vacation there. We had a great time and are already planning a return trip.

you can fill your empty bottles up right outside at one of the mineral water filling stations...the lady working inside the visitor center was very helpful and informative about everything.
