One of the most recent additions to the Trustees of the Reservation land acquirements. This area borders the meandering Charles River and it is lovely in all seasons, especially when it snows! Don't forget your sled as the sledding is fantastic on the hill by the house. Really pretty in the Fall too. Easy to find. Easy to park.

My husband and I brought our dogs here for a walk. We were a bit disappointed to find that there was signage that said dogs must be leashed, but it was probably a good thing. The trail is beautiful going along the Charles river, through the woods and meadows, but in the summer time, ticks are everywhere and our dogs love romping in high grass. If you plan to hike, bring bug spray. The mosquitoes are fierce. There are nice picnic tables in the fields. Looks like it would be a lovely place to kayak or have a picnic.

Calm open space, nice fields, some trails, and a very good canoe launching spot for the Charles River. In dry summers, the river can be a bit low here.
