Full of early american Plymouth belongings. A brief historical film presentation. For all decendants of Mayflower passengers, it is a "must see".

Wonderful Pilgrim artifacts!!! William Bradford's very own Bible as well as many other interesting finds. I have been twice and enjoyed both informational and enlightening trips!

Centrally located, easy to navigate, nice gift shop, educational. It was interesting for those who enjoy historical information.

What a great place this is! There are some artifacts that just amaze me that they have survived so long. You can't take pictures indoors but it make sense, considering what they're trying to protect and preserve there. There is a fun museum scavenger hunt for the kids, there are 2 or 3 different versions for different age ranges, so it can be engaging for everyone. I highly recommend going here, you can tie it in with a nice walk around downtown and/or a walk and picnic along the waterfront.

This small museum of full of historical treasures belonging to the pilgrims who traveled here over 300 years ago…Its a fascinating place full of rare artifacts and the staff is very knowledgable on the history behind the treasures..The museum is located near the waterfront downtown so its convenient to combine with doing other things in Plymouth....It has a hands on part of the museum which would probably be great for kids..

The Pilgrim Hall Museum is " the oldest continuously operating public museum in the country and America’s museum of Pilgrim possessions". A small museum, where you can find a lot out about the lives of the Pilgrims ... very interesting! You can see the whole thing in less than an hour, but don't miss the movie downstairs ... very well done, and informative. Great place to go on a rainy day (as it was the day we were there, but don't miss it even on a nice day). Free parking out back.

The museum has a nice collection of art and artifacts. Children can get an age-appropriate "hunting" list at the main desk, and then look for items on the list as they go through the museum. Our grandsons (ages 6 and 8) really got into the hunt.

Great to see pilgrims history and artifacts. The video was well done and informative. It was raining the day we were there. Drove to the monument where Plymouth rock is. it is not accessible. You can touch a piece that is in the museum. (the rock has a long history that is interesting)

I thought I knew about the Pilgrims and their place in American history, but this museum was an eye-opener for me. Extensive collection of artifacts and documents from the time the Pilgrims arrived, with detailed and updated/re-interpreted explanations of their history and contributions to American life. For anyone at all interested in American history and the past's influence on the future, this is a "must-see."

Horrible rainy day in Plymouth so we decided to go to the museum, wonderful idea. Learnt a great deal about the history and the deeds of these brave people and their ability to adapt and eventually flourish in a new land.

It was amazing to see actual items from the Mayflower (shoe, hat, spoon, and cradle). Items of the period are expertly displayed. A few films offer detailed experiences of our early settlers. A must visit in Plymouth.

This remarkable historic museum traces our collective history from 1620 when the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth. You'll find a wonderful collection of true period artifacts and rare art depicting the history and lives of these hardy travelers. The museum also has an extensive library for researchers seeking data on this period of our country. Don't miss this great site. Enjoy!

This museum was full of interesting information on the Pilgrims. Who they were, why they set sail on the Mayflower and what happened to them once they landed at Plymouth. I really enjoyed it. It is a beautiful building. Not very large, you could probably see everything in less than two hours.

Its a smaller museum but well worth the visit. You will probably spend an hour to 2 hours depending on how detailed you read through the various exhibits. There's a 15 minute video about the Mayflower crossing. They do a good job explaing how the pilgrims lived and events of the time. Would recommend the tour.

This museum really demonstrates what the pilgrims experienced upon their arrival to America's shore. The 15 minute video to start your visit is a MUST. Many Americans think our history began in the late 1700's but this brings you back more than a hundred years more than that. What a great thing to experience.
