zoe's chocolate shoppe

Hubby and I love popping in there for a little sweet treat every now and then. Very unique flavors of truffles and nice yummy treats you can give as gifts. Not horribly expensive and they are so cute!

My husband bought me my first chocolates from Zoe's when he was working in Frederick- several people recommended the shop as a great place to buy a Valentine's Day gift. The flavors are amazing and the chocolates are beautifully made. Even if you think it's an odd flavor, try it! They are all delicious. The ice cream sold in the summer is rich and decadent. It's an adorable little shop with friendly staff. You may think it's a bit pricey for chocolate, but it is sooo worth it! Hands down, it is the best chocolate I have ever eaten!

I found this on trip advisor and wanted to stop in not only because I love chocolate but also wanted to support local vendors. It's a small shop. My chocolate and pretzel bar was about $7 but you are getting a homemade product. Friendly service and a must for chocolate lovers.

I actually can't say anything about the chocolate since I haven't eaten it - I bought them for Christmas gifts. But I will say that if you are not going to be around to make sure you get the delivery, be wary. In a matter of two hours, my package was left outside and squirrels got into the box. The box was not wrapped/taped very well at all. Only one piece of shipping tape was wrapped around the box, allowing the squirrels to get into it very quickly....and they ate a whole box of the chocolates. So, I am out one Christmas present, the money I spent on the chocolate and no kind of any compensation from the company since the package was delivered ok. Haven't had that problem with any other food items I ordered, and were left at my door. They were all sealed very well. Unfortunately because of this incident, I will probably not order from them again - for fear of the box getting "broken into". (and this came from the Wayneboro, PA shop, not the MD shop)

I am not a chocolate fan, however, members of my family are. I have purchased chocolates from them before and taken as gifts, I try myself, and really enjoy. They are highly priced for high quality crafted pieces of choco-art. I would recommend, and I will return here. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Might even get a free sample.

Hubby and I stopped in for a sweet bite after lunch at Brewer's Alley. We each got four truffles...not sure what hubby had, but I had Chocolate Mint, Peanut Butter Meltaway, Palominomar (I think that's what it was), and Agean Pistachio. Very very good, probably one of the best chocolates I've ever had....

I have eaten chocolate from every place I've been inside and outside of the USA. This place is number one. It pushed Lake Champlain Chocolate to number two. Go there - indulge. Buy your friend a candy bar and relish the smile on his/her face.
