This is a great place to bring in the new year. We were at a private event in which the had a great band, wonderful appetizers and desserts and lots of fun. Happy New Year!
We saw a band called Strictly Bizzness perform at this club and it was an awesome show. The layout of the club is nice and lighting in there is beautiful and professional looking.
The band playing the night I was there was really good. I do not listen to Rock music but I did enjoy the live band. They made the night even more electrifying!!
We saw Mr. Eric Benet at MD Live's Ramshead Center Stage. It was a packed house with people listening from outside. Eric really did a wonderful show. He rocked the house form one side of the stage to the other. We came early and had dinner at The Cheesecake Factory which was a great bonus since all we had to do was to walk a few feet to see the show. Excellent venue. I would highly recommend this place. It is also a great place for big meetings as well.
The venue is small so you can get up close and personal to the performer(s). We saw Molly Hatchet, and the old guys can still rock out. But that being said, those close quarters can also create an incredibly loud atmosphere, which it did. Since we played the slots before the show, and were winning, it was a bit of drag to have to stop our streak. iI was a bit distracting to be watching the show, while the machines were rolling, but that was our problem not theirs.I would go again, but this time I would refrain from all the other enticements and just enjoy the show.
The Ram's Head Stage at Maryland Live Casino is a terric place to catch any act. I recently saw Starship here and was blown away by the up close view and great sound system. If the show is sold out you can hang at the bar or nearby slots and at least hear the bands. Low ticket prices and easy free parking are a plus. Good eating spots nearby include Prime Rib and Cheesecake Factory.
Loved the easy access parking and elevators. Nice way to get folks in and out quickly, safely, and easily --- in order for us to experience great shopping, dining, and fun. Nice... and we will be back!
I spent the weekend in Baltimore with my fiance and we attended a concert at Rams Head Center Stage. Garden State Radio was playing that night. I must say that we we pleasantly surprised at the number of songs they played, and the fact that a lot of these songs are currently on top 40 radio. We were also pleased that we we able to get a VIP booth for $50.00 with all of that going toward the bar tab at the end of the night. So it was free essentially. Drinks were reasonably priced. The only issue we had, was that when we both went outside to have a cigarette together, the waitress took the drinks off our table and dumped them. When we explained what happened, the quickly replaced our drinks at no charge. We had a great time with no complaints.
I've been to several venues for the band "Here Come the Mummies," but this was the first time I'd been to this stage. With a floor area, an area with pub tables, and a VIP area with booths, it was well laid-out with plenty of ways to navigate through the venue. Loved the band. Loved the venue! Would go back to see another show there in a heartbeat.
No matter who you see there - great place - great sound - great drinks. Not tooooo smal and not tooooo big!!
So loud you cannot even make out the vocals. Its only the second place in my lifetime were i went to a concert and left, because i couldnt even think. I think its just poorly set up, and should be walled in.
