My husband and I have been to a few climbing gyms, and after moving to the area, we decided to check this one out. The staff is outstanding and very knowledgeable. They have an awesome gear shop area, and so many routes an bouldering areas to keep you busy for HOURS. It's the priciest gym we've found, but you are surely getting a lot for your money.

Earth Treks is a great place to go if you want to get a good workout. There are two different ways you can climb. The first is that if your thirteen or over, you can learn how to climb. If your younger than thirteen you can go to open climb and climb three times for $25 which is expensive. A cool thing is that you can have your birthday party there. This is one of my favorite places to go on a rainy day.

Having never once been rock climbing or had any formal training in the sport, I signed up for an introductory course at EarthTreks with my girlfriend. After this three hour course we felt extremely prepared for climbing and belaying for each other with no supervision. We have since been back many times to climb with friends or on our own and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. The prices for individual days as well as memberships and classes are all listed on the website and the staff is very helpful in person and on the phone.
