This market is full of a wide variety of pastry, baked goods, cheese, and meat. It also has a variety of prepared food and a café. It is extremely popular for a very good reason.....it is all good and reasonably priced. For these reasons, it's a very popular place. We enjoy stopping in when we're in Annapolis.

I usually hate when my wife goes shopping. This is never the case when she wants to go to the Nordstrom Rack in Annapolis on Saturdays. I always go with her just to get nice and fat at the Amish Market. We went this past weekend and it was as great as ever. There is place halfway down the entry hallway that sells all types of pretzel logs. You need to go here, and you need to get a breakfast or sausage log, or whatever you want. It will be delicious. I promise. If you get there early enough there is usually no line and they have the log you want ready. If you get there more toward noon there is typically a line that is worth the wait, and then you have to wait if they do not have your log available. They have all sorts of places to shop for food; butchers, bakers, produce, doughnuts, cheeses. You name it, it is there and it tastes great. I usually have to get a pint of tapioca for the wife, then cheeses and snacks for me and my son. There is also a nice place outside to eat, or you can cross the parking lot and eat by the lake and feed the ducks and huge turtles that swim in it.

Whenever I am in the Annapolis area I go here to pick up groceries. The vegetables and fruit have all been very good. They do have a large selection of cheeses, cream cheese and meat selections so, far everything I have gotten has been good. The bakery is a favorite place for my teenage daughter she loves the fresh baked bread and cinnamon rolls. A couple times I have purchased the coconut cream pie, pumpkin pie and pumpkin loaf which we did enjoy. It is very crowded (we never go on Saturdays though) and I wished it was open more than 3 days a week like the Hartville Kitchen in Ohio.

Not exactly what I expected. These Amish were very much modernized, One girl was even wearing braces. No horse and buggies here. That being said, the items for sale were great. The produce was fresh, the baked goods delicious, the meats looked fresh, a big candy shop, appetizing dept, chees3 shop and a wooden furniture dept. All amazing. Good value of the food items.. The quality of the furniture was amazing, however a bit pricey.

There was a time when this market was a hidden gem for locals. Great food and great deals...no more. The food is as wonderful as ever, in fact they have expanded their offerings and have lots of unique items. The unfortunate by-product of their popularity and quality is prices have practically doubled in the past few years. A dozen dinner rolls (which are pure heaven) used to be $1.99 are now $3.99. The sad part is that they could cost $5 and people will still buy them. Jarred pickles are now $5.99, were once $3.50. I could go on and on. The Amish have whole families working there together and making money hand-over-fist. We like to bring out of town guests there as many have never seen members of the Amish community nor heard them speak their language, Pennsylvania Dutch hybrid German/English. They are friendly and very customer service oriented business people so shopping there is a pleasure. They close officially at 3pm on Saturday yet often start breaking down at Noon. They also run out of items. Our favorites:Apple cider donutsFresh squeezed orange/grapefruit juiceSoft pretzels of all kindsDeviled eggsHomemade pies and dinner rollsSticky buns of all kindsHomemade sausageFried chickenChicken potpiesHomemade salads such as cole slaw, etc.Home grown produce, tomatoes/lopes, etc.Canned items like pickles, beets, jams, etc.Baking supplies of all kinds, such as for holiday cookies

The restaurant serves delicious home-style meals; real turkey and mashed potatoes. Individual stalls for fruit and vegetables, cheeses, prepared salads, candy, baked goods, and fresh meat counter. The people are very friendly and helpful. Some foods to try include the soft pretzels (more dough-like than pretzel but delicious), pretzel-wrapped hot dogs and cheese logs, freshly made donuts, and milkshakes. Open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday only.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Market. It's really unique, they have tons of goods for you to eat, drink and buy :)I ate a Cheese and Steak Log, in the pretzels stand, that was awesome! One of the best things I ate in the whole trip. Really recommend it.

Don't miss it! First of all bring cash because most of the stands don't take credit/debit card. Make sure to give yourself extra time. It's a much bigger place than what it appears to be on the outside. Walking in feels so special. This might sound weird but it felt like being in a Disney movie. All the employees are sweet, kind, and polite. We loved hearing them speak in their language to each other. The food options are endless. There are so many choices. Homemade goods in the bakery such as whoopie pies (a MUST TRY) , fruit pies, cinnamon rolls, breads of all kinds are all so fresh and made from scratch. I wanted to buy it all! There is a cheese case that has endless choices in spreads. The options and spices for spices is great. So much better than the super market. Killer fried chicken and cooked meats. Have kids? They have an awesome candy section and hand dipped strawberries. I could write pages about this place. But nobody wants to read these reviews that long. There is something for everyone. I hear the breakfast lunch is worth the wait. We'll be back to try it for sure. Whatever you do in Annapolis....make sure this is on the list!!!

If you are in the Annapolis, MD area, don't miss a chance to visit the Dutch Market at the Harbor Center. Run by the Amish, this market offers everything from home baked items, meats, cheeses, a full deli, and produce stand to a small restaurant and freshly made pretzels and pretzel dogs. The food is great, the Amish people welcoming and friendly, and the experience fun. Children love watching the Amish as they make donuts and pretzels and visiting the candy shop. While you're there, go next door to the furniture shop and see the beautifully hand crafted furniture.

We had a quick visit through here, but everything was tasty. Donuts, pretzels, desserts, and breads. Everything looks and smells great. We are planning to go back soon and make it a longer trip.

We absolutely love this place. Especially like their pancake mix (always have to bring some back for friends)... same for shoo fly pie. Mostly go for Dutch type foods. Breakfast line is extremely packed & long wait. Tried once but not worth the wait. Have great cheeses & dips. Quite frankly always find new things to get. Look around, would be difficult not to buy something!!!

The Amish market is located in a strip mall atmosphere in Annapolis called the Harbor Center. You can't miss the lighthouse soaring above the market. Inside, you will find a vast array of delicious goodies. Homemade pies, breads, cinnamon rolls, and the best soft pretzels ever. A must try is the pepperoni rolls or hot dogs wrapped in the mouth watering pretzel dough coupled with their freshly made ice cream fruit shakes . They have a full meat case and deli case along with vegetables directly from the farm. You can even shop for Amish made wood furniture and crafts. The restaurant serves made from scratch items for breakfast and lunch and is very busy. The market is open Thursday and Friday from 9AM-6PM and Saturday from 8:30AM-3PM only. This market is one to be missed. Highly Recommended...

I expected this to be an outdoor market, it is not. It is in area of strip malls and was enclosed, which was a plus on a humid August day. Still a fun market with a variety of offerings. Check out the spice market when you enter, they have great prices on bulk spices and nuts, which was a pleasant surprise since everything is expensive in this area.

Restaurant offers great breakfast/lunch fare. The store is second to none for baked goods like pies/cakes etc. This is an Annapolis fixture not to be missed.

We have been visiting the market for many years. The sell some of the best homemade bread, pastries, fresh vegetables and baking supplies in the area. They also have a restaurant that's open for breakfast & lunch serving products available for sale in the market. The staff are always friendly and courteous but, a little distant. The employees are not all authentic so, don't be surprised to see make-up and cell phones. The place is always crowded, so arrive early to bet the rush. We've visited many other markets like this one and none compare.
