An uninspired memorial by the side of the road, faded and unkempt. Someone should spend a little money on maintenance.

This is a beautiful memorial overlooking the river. It is well worth seeking out and stopping to spend a half hour or more. The view over the river is beautiful. I have been three times and each time a feel a certain peace coming over me. A wonderful spot to reflect on life and what really matters.

The memorial sits across the Severn River from Annapolis and the Naval Academy. The memorial is well designed and offers a historical perspective of WW2. It also has an excellent view of Annapolis. Make the short drive across the Naval Academy bridge, you won't be disappointed.

The memorial was built on a small hill across the river from historic Annapolis on Rt. 450 and can be easily access by Rt. 450 from the city. There are plenty of parking spaces on the site. The wall of names was very well design to capture your feeling while reflecting the thought to pay tribute to those brave soldiers who lost their life. It is worth to include this site to your plan of visit to Annapolis. It is also easily access to stop by on your way to and from the beaches. The sun set view of Annapolis and the Severn river alone is worth the trip.

I always encourage travelers coming from the west to go across the Severn River Bridge on Rte 50 (one of the most scenic bodies of water in America) and then go into Annapolis at the next exit onto Governor Ritchie Highway/Rt 450. The WWII is at the top of the hill overlooking Annapolis

The World War II Memorial is just across the Severn River from the Naval Academy. It is a very nice memorial dedicated to the brave men & women who served their country in a time of need. It is well worth the time to stop & pay your respects.

Low key but very nice and inspiring memorial overlooking the Severn River. Visit at sunset. On route 2.

Really interesting. Got there by the trolly tour (which i would definitely recommend). Has great views of Annapolis and the history there is amazing. I would definitely visit it again.

This memorial was beautiful and has a nice setting. It was included in the bus tour from the Visitor's Center. We were able to get out, walk around, and take pictures.

Worth a short visit to walk thru and read of the WWII events. Tablets describe both Atlantic and Pacific actions broadly but do offer very interesting facts.

Nice stop on your journey into or out of Annapolis; the memorial is tastefully done. It offers wonderful panorama views of Annapolis, the waterfront and the academy. Parking is convenient and access is easy.

This memorial is beautiful. Even with snow on the ground, it doesn't distract from the beauty of the memorial. Overlooking the memorial brings a sense of calmness and gratitude. This is definitely recommended for all ages.It is easy to find and parking is available which makes it great for larger groups of visitors.

After passing this memorial many times on the way to downtown Annapolis, we stopped with relatives to take a closer look. It is well worth the time. Great scenic views with plenty of historical facts about WWII and the men and women of Maryland who served our country.

The memorial is situated on the high bank of the Severn and provides a scenic view on the Naval Academy and parts of the city, as well the bridge across the river.
