My wife and I stayed in Sosua for a week and spent 2-3hours a couple of days. I preferred this beach to Sosua beach, because it is less crowded and won't be bothered by local vendors. The beach does not have any trees, but umbrellas and 2 beach chairs can be had for 200-300pesos. They do run out of umbrellas/chairs at times, but we had our beach towels and were still very comfortable. Perfect beach and perfect sand and water for a good swim. There are plenty of restaurant options near the beach.

we had a great day here we almost had the beach to ourselves, there was just one other couple, no vendors which was good.Rented loungers and umbrella for a few dollars, the guy Aldo brought us drinks and really good food down from the nearby hotel, a definite return visit to this perfect location

Cab drivers don't seem to know this beach exists. Have them take you to Sosua and then point out the blue sign on the main road directing them to the beach. The beach has wide sand with no shade trees and no vendors. Rent an umbrella and enjoy! There's nice dining options up the stairs. We had a great pizza with wonderful views of the beach at Jerry's Cafe, just 30 or so yards to the west.

Love the peacefulness of this beach. However, there are no trees to speak of for shade. So you need an umbrella for sure. It's down quite a few steps to get to the beach and sometimes the sand is incredibly hot getting to your space. Is it worth it? Absolutely.

Beautiful beach surrounded by dry corral headland. Beachgoers can rent lounge chairs and a large umbrella for a decent price, although the umrellas can get snapped up quickly during the high season.Usually quiet but for several days a foreign tourist was flying a drone over the beach, trying to impress to impress the Dominican girls.

Love coming to this beach. Though there's nothing wrong with Sosua beach you do get very tired of the vendors. Here no one bothers you.

No facilities at this beach, bring your own towel, small but somewhat private, nothing special , pay attention to the flag they are flying on the beach and the waves and the undertow can be very strong

Playa Alicia is a very new beach. Years ago there was only a big cliff at this spot. Then the sand started coming (by nature) and today there is a georgeous wide sand beach with no stones in the water. Above the beach is a beautiful park with two nice restaurants and parking space. Sometimes you can also find a big live concert or Zumbaton there. My favorite spot in Sosua!
