Did tubing with Calypso down White River. Our guide Shaun did a wonderful job guiding us down the mild rapids and then justleisurely floating the rest of the way. We had pictures taken from shore which turned out great.

The water was cool and refreshing, the guides were entertaining but kept the group together and safe and helped out when you needed it. It was a really fun way to spend the day.

We went tubing down the White River with our 2 sons - ages 6 and 8 - and this is definitely a must do for the whole family. A guide takes you down the river and through many gentle rapids. The Rapids aren't rough enouh to throw you out of your tube and the guide has all eyes on everyone as you travel along. It's a great way to see the lush beauty of Jamaica and it's very peaceful and uncrowded. There is a stop in the middle of the tour where you can go to the bathroom, have a drink at the bar and take a look at pics for purchase that a photographer takes of you while on the tour. Obviously no obligation to buy and they don't pressure you to buy anything. All in all a great tour that was free of crowds!

Just got back from a seven day cruise and the tubing down the White River in Jamaica was the highlight of the trip. It was both exciting and relaxing at the same time, as it had rained earlier in the day, so parts of the river were flowing quickly and other parts were a liesure float. I mentioned to the guide that the only thing that would make it better was a beer, so a bit later, we floated to the side of the river where Red Stripes were delivered, which we sipped on while contiuing our float. Ahhh, now that's vacation!

Vivian and Wednesday were awesome! Great river float. Even though it was a little cold, our guides singing and pranks made the day great.

Tubing down the river was awesome. Guide was very informative. Ziplining was lame. Mystic Mountain is much better for that

This was a relaxing way to spend a couple hours with your spouse. However, it is almost in Montego Bay, so if staying in Ocho Rios, it is a long day.

A wonderful relaxing few hours, floating down the river on an inner tube. We DID get wet but it was fun!!

We grabbed a tour at the port for River rafting and were taken by short taxi ride to a somewhat derelict looking area. However, we were introduced to three amazing guys Noel, Charlie & Osmond who were to be our guides and captains. What a great day we had. Two adults to a raft (one with the additional toddler) and off we set. The guides were great fun and full of local knowledge, stopping to pick different leaves and pods at the riverside to show us their local remedies and spices. The midway stop for a swim was memorable for the ice cold temperature of the water, which amazingly our toddler didn't seem to mind as much as the adults!.Ending up at the meeting of the river and the ocean, our guides duly stayed very close as we left the rafts to look at some locals selling their wares to make sure we weren't hassled. Such a fab day, will stay long in our memories.

Tubing is fantastic!! You feel like you're floating through the rain forest. It's Relaxing even in the pouring rain. Great for groups of adults. The tubing lasts about 2 hours. There's a midway point with a bar where they take pictures & you can have some red stripes. Do not bring anything valuable.... it's very easy going but one wrong mistep getting out of the water & there go your sunglasses. HIGHLY recommended over Dunns River Falls

We went to Calypso Cove on the White River.It was so fantastic we went back a second time and spent the whole day. The food was great, the staff were wonderful . There was 7 of us - x2 70yr olds, x2 40yr olds and x3 teenagers. Weall enjoyed it !!!!

We went tubing down the White River with another couple on our day off of our cruise ship. We had an amazing time. The water was a beautiful blue/green and there were rapids (fairly moderate, but more than we had expected). You have a guide who floats down with you and keeps you out of harms way. It was only a 30 minute ride, which was perfect for us after having been to the Blue Hole (also amazing!!). I highly recommend this to anyone of any age.

We took two rafts through Whites River into a beautiful swimming hole. It was so much fun! There was a shallow spot to jump in and swim in the beautiful warm water. Our guides were friendly and accommodating. Both my husband and I , and our three teenagers enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Thank you to Alphanso! Tubing Down river. Driver to adventure was very knowledgable. Roads not good for people who get car sick. One member of our party did get sick. Great scenery on the way. Take water shoes. Obviously wear bathing suit. We received helmets and life jackets. Lockers were rented for our stuff. Sign a waver and off we go down the road to launch our tubes from a truck. About 1 hour + we get down river. Guide tells us if we get stuck check first then push off with feet. I don't think my paddling with my hands helped me butt... Rapids involved were not bad, exciting. Would go back. A person followed through jungle and shore taking pictures. We also had our water cameras. We bought some pictures too. Great time. Good for family. We all felt safe. Van picked us up at end to return to start. Refreshments can be purchased at end and souvenirs.

We had an amazing time in Jamaica! We could not have asked for a better guide/driver than Dexter from Karandas Tours (aka Excursions in Jamaica) !!! He was very welcoming and informative and made us all feel very comfortable while in Jamaica. Dexter was waiting for us when we arrived on our cruise ship. He made sure we were all comfortable in the van and told us what to expect during our day in Jamaica. He then drove us towards the Blue Hole. Along the way he shared lots of history and other information about different areas we passed through. When we arrived at the Blue Hole he told us exactly what to expect and also gave us peace of mind leaving our stuff in the van and assured us that no one could access the van while we were touring the Blue Hole. The Blue Hole is a hidden paradise. Very few people there while we were there which made it even more natural and beautiful. Waterfalls, springs, rope swings. Great for all fitness levels too! There were 20 somethings enjoying it as well as 60 somethings! Absolutely beautiful! When we got back to the van, he was waiting for us and all of our belongings were safe and sound. He then took us to the White River for tubing. Again, he told us exactly what to expect and showed us where he would be when we made our way down the river. We had the river to ourselves. The river was covered with a canopy of jungle trees and was incredible. Every so often we would hit light rapids that kept us moving. A guide traveled with us down the river to make sure we didn't hit any rocks or get stuck along the way. He was really fun! Dexter was there waiting for us when we got down the river. We asked him to take us to a great place for a Jamaica Pattie and he knew just the right place. He took us for the most delicious Pattie! We all loved it. We also asked him to stop for very authentic jerk chicken and again he knew just the right place to take us. The chicken was amazing. He also brought along a cooler of water for us to have in the van. Finally, we stopped for souvenirs at a great shop. We all bought several souvenirs to bring home to family and friends. He then took us back to the ship and got us there exactly when we had asked him to have us back. It was the best day of our cruise and I definitely give Dexter all the credit for our experience. I also want to mention that the wonderful lady that helped me book the tour initially was fantastic! Very polite, helpful and accommodating!
