The center of town gets busy on Wednesdays. a lot of locals selling their wares..both legal and illegal-nuff said. The old buildings are nice to view. A far cry from their glory days. Glad to see police patrolling-kept a safe scene for visitors. i9 like how historical signs are all around explaining the towns past. Careful walking because traffic does get tricky. Water fountain is nice for photo as are several churches and government buildings.
Defunk water feature does not a town center make. The only interesting point was that there once were working tunnels under the buildings. We couldn't imagine that. Traffic is very dangerous. There seem to be no rules and no concern for preserving life. Interesting courthouse nearby with extremely steep stairs.
Took cab from negril ocean side all the way, very busy town as cruise ships in on Wednesdays and local market sells everything. Nice town
This is a nice little square but the municipality needs to work on renovations and improvement. It is not taken care of and for a town that gets lots of tourist it is not attractive. Plenty of shops around, and lots of vendors asking your to take a look at their merchandise. It can be so much better.
So because of the cruise ship they have turned Falmouth into a walk through town. The square is dirty and not well kept for its name. Some buildings have been restored but persons from the market sell in the square. The fountain and palms surrounding it are not maintained as they should be. At nights the square is transformed into a large cook shop from every side. Its not an attraction, people avoid it.
The Bend Down (Bendun) market on Wednesdays is a kick. The cruise ships are in and it's a busy place.
