Plays are limited to 2 to 4 actors and very funny. I do enjoy the local cultural slant to the entire experience.

Always great shows a the Village Playhouse. Comfortable seating and great ambiance. We saw Les Stroud last winter and were blown away by how good the show was. Small room made it very intimate and sound was excellent. Always impressed at the quality of the shows presented.The volunteers really do a professional job. Kudos

I've been taking in a performance or two per season at The Village Playhouse for several years and it's a fun night out. Quality of productions generally quite high for a small-town theatre and some exceptional performances.

I attended two plays this summer and enjoyed both of them. Both very entertaining and funny....lots of laughs! Great for this community and a real treat for visitors...keep up the good work!

Visiting cottage country near Bancroft with relatives turned into an unexpected treat when Wediscovered they had reserverd tickets to "Too Many Cooks"!---A Bancroft Summer TheatreProduction; in association with Blackfly Theatre.Simply put---this production was Outstanding, Hilarious, Professional!Cast and characters were brilliant! And this was certainly played to a full house.Great location, as you can wonder around this picturesque village and enjoy many of the shops, food and beverage houses.This will be a repeat next time We visit , and certainly a hi-light for anyone visiting the Bancroft area.

If visiting Bancroft, check out the Theatre to see what play the local talent is putting on. Always a great way to spend an evening. Tickets are well priced and its in walking distance to local restaurants.
