thunder bay tourist pagoda

This is literally just a gazebo standing in the park on lake side. Not much to see there at all. The park itself is probably more memorable, particularly with all the train traffic next to it.

I don't think this is the right one...but couldn't find The Friendship gardens...these are beautiful and have many countries represented with different sculptures for them...It is a nice walk around with many flower gardens...these weren't quite in bloom as of yet because of the "no spring" this year and late winter frosts and cold...but you could see in a month they will be gorgeous. I thoroughly enjoyed walking this and seeing the designs.

The Thunder Bay Tourist Pagoda is very historic and beautiful - don't miss it! The advisor in the Pagoda was very knowledgeable and helped us find our way along the beautiful waterfront trail right across the road - you have to travel across an elevated walkway to get to it. Beautiful views of the Sleeping Giant and harbour. We also made a stop at the Sleeping Giant Brewing Company thanks to the directions of the Pagoda advisor - worth the stop - bought a growler of beer for the road!!!
