although I havent been since 2011 due to injury the V8 supercars are the ultimate experience. the atmosphere is electrifying and the after concerts are fantastic the hotpass is the best and cheapest 3 day outing anywhere in aussie land
When the V8 super cars come to town this place becomes a well oiled machine. Buses to and from, easy parking, easy direction to entrances. A great place to visit for the motor enthusiast.
Hidden Valley has it all and close by however the track is awesome and with the drag strip and burnout pad close by you can soon understand why it is always busy down there. Can't wait for the next drag season starting in April 2015.
Cheap entry $10 for a pensioner, great outdoors event with most people bringing a chair. Beer n burgers available. Use your GPS to find places is always easiest. They also have a Facebook site and it was great to have my questions about security parking answered as i have a motorhome with all my gear and parking was lit up and they had patrols.
I really enjoyed watching the drags, the seating area was pretty average but otherwise good. not too expensive
Our 5th time to Hidden Valley. Fantastically run meeting at a truly unique location. The organizers go out of their way to ensure you are constantly entertained, shuttle busses from Darwin to the track, fantastic.
Wonderful set up,fantastic viewing no matter where you sat, well organised, reasonably priced and a wonderful atmosphere
Darwin has the most amazing drag strip in australia with a brand new burnout pad. There is also the amazing Mud Racing the is the best thing you will see, it is a great family event.
Visited Darwin for v8's in June. Very hot. It was a very organised event. There was plenty of food outlets with a good variety albeit all VERY expensive. Had a terrific time. The transport - buses - were very well organised,
Hidden Valley Motor Sports Complex is without doubt the best natural valley for viewing some great racing almost year round. The view is unimpeded and the track layout is built into the natural terrain surrounding the area. The annual V8 Super Cars attract nearly 50,000 people each year, many of whom are visitors who can not beleive how good the venue is.
I go to the V8' supercars and Drags all the time here and this is a great venue that is a must go and see!
Attended the 3 days of the Triple Crown V8 Supercar race meeting. Great venue at a reasonable price. Some very good vantage points are to be found giving a view of a good section of track. Drinks are a bit pricey, was surprised about not being allowed to bring in any Coke products, understand about alcohol but Coke???????
Excellent facility. Well laid out. Lots of food and drinks available. Good access to most areas of track.Visited for the V8 Supercars. Very well organized with evening music included. Very fair price for a great weekend.
As our first time to the Darwin V8's at hidden Valley, this was a fantastic experience that was well organised and setup to cater for everyone. Having paid a considerable amount to get to Darwin from Perth, this event was well worth the money and dare I say it but it was far better than what Perth has to offer. Well done to the Darwin Motorsport Association
Just the fact you were able to access all areas of the track unhindered by ticket restrictions. $90- for the V8 super car weekends a +
