We went for the fresh cherries and apricots - yummmm!!! Enjoyed the coffee overlooking the small golf course. At the end of a short convoluted and narrow road, but well worth the visit. Owners lovely and service great.
This little destination is well worth the visit. It is a cherry orchard - fresh cherries $14 kilo, and there is a tiny coffee shop. Barbeque facilities are available, picnic tables, and a pitch and chip 9 hole golf course. I haven't played on the course yet but plan to come back for a barbie and golf with a group.
Looked for a place to have a swing. I for one am not the greatest golfer. The place was beautiful, orchards and nice scenery. Owners were very nice and helpful. No eftpos or variety in food but that was okay. The rest of the place made up for it. Recommended to all
Very nice staff with good coffee in the sun. My friends played golf and enjoyed it. Worth the visit if in the area.
What a stunning setting, in amongst the peaceful bush behind St Helens, the Cerese Brook Orchard was a great place to stop and have coffee and the most divine fresh peach tart! I still think about that tart! Excellent coffee, approved by Melbourne coffee snobs :)
The golf course was a great place for our family to have some fun. The owner was very helpful in getting us started as we'd never played golf before. It's a shame that there was very little to choose from to eat there - only biscuits and fruit cake, not the fruit pie we had hoped for.
We called in here unplanned - my husband cannot pass a sign to a golf course without detouring to "take a quick look". Normally I sit with a book and wait for him, but I couldn't resist my first ever attempt at the game on this charming pitch and putt course. The location is beautiful, with rolling holes and plenty of wildlife (real birdies on several of the greens). The 9-hole fee is $8 for adults, and you can hire clubs for a dollar each.At the end of a strenuous round you can relax with a lovely cool drink, some fresh fruit, or a coffee and a slice of homemade cake, sitting on the colourful chairs overlooking the course. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, there is plenty of parking, and a loo. A lovely place to spend a couple of hours, and good family entertainment too as the course is well within the capability (and boredom threshold) of children.
