the strawberry farm

Place is a bit run down, and a couple of the animals were limping as if they need attention. The ice cream was quite good, and the fresh strawberries with it were very nice. With a little bit of work and some care for the animals, this place could be much improved.

I have been wanting to take my husband to The Strawberry Farm for a while now to try a traditional Ekka style strawberry ice-cream and was very disappointed with what we experienced today. The actual farm is now gone and the cafe desperately needs a facelift. I was informed that they had run out of cream when we ordered and the ice-creams are quite expensive at $6.00 each. A real shame. I don't think we'll be revisiting anytime soon.

Being a local of the area I found this attraction not nearly as good as it used to be.Most of the animals are gone and you can no longer pick strawberries. It isn't straight off the highway anymore, so not as easy to stop by when travelling Brisbane to the Gold Coast. Ice- creams are still quite good but smaller in size than they used to be and the price is double. Staff very slow and uninterested in serving you. All in all a disappointing visit, and probably wont bother again.
