Anyone know what happened to these guys?? Cannot call/email them. Wanted to book this weekend but everything is a dead end...
Most boring place to visit. Don't go in witnter as it can be cold and miserable. Got nothing from it and the staff were VERY unpleasant.
We've been promising for some time to take our 11 year old son and his 13 year old cousin to this place. My wife booked on line and we paid $130 for the 2 of them. It was $90 for the two of them to be strapped into a plastic ball and then roll down a zigzag track on a gentle hill. The kids thought it was 'awesome', which is great but $90 for 1 minute of 'fun', no repeat rides as we thought, just one 'roll'. In anyone's language, $90 a minute is not affordable family fun! Then the other part was $40 for them to roll down a straight track in a ball with 40 litres of water in it. Again it was 'awesome' but this time it was $40 for 30 seconds! There is no wonder this place was not packed, and I doubt it ever will be at these prices. We will not be back, unless a more sensible pricing structure is applied.
Return customers. Great value for the family. Our daughter had a ball (pardon the pun). Great way to end holiday!!!
Went with my sister and partner and we purchased 3 trips of 3 in the hydro ball. Was so much fun, highly recommend even for younger children. We also then opted to have a bit of a play around on the segways they now have, as I have always wanted to play on one.The guy was very helpful in explaining how they worked and it was great to have a spin around on one.
We went here as part of our Beach Bum Surfari weekend and laughed all the way down the mountain in one these huge inflatable balls, we thought we were going to drown we were laughing so much. Great way to finish off our best weekend so far in Australia...
I recently went to Ozball with a friend and I loved it!It was absolutely pouring down rain and there was not a soul there when we pulled up. But of course it still runs in the rain. We opted for the hydro ride because we were pretty much soaked anyways! They have change rooms availible and store your personal items behind the desk. We were told people usually walk up the hill to the platform, but because of the rain we were driven up. It's a bit unnerving standing at the top of a hill inside a ball with some water and another person inside with you, but the second we were pushed off the hilltop I got a rush of adrenaline induced laughter. I flew down the hill howling with laughter while my friend screamed beside me. Upon arrival at the bottom, several pictures of us were snapped and we flopped unceremoniously out of the ball. We were offered a second run and gladly drove up the hill for another go. It was pure fun. At the end, you're given a fluffy towel to dry off with, which is pretty nice. You can buy your pictures for pretty cheap compared to other tourist pictures, and you can get them half price with the Ozball advertisement in free tourist brochures. A good souvenir for the experience. Overall, I really enjoyed it. And at 40$ for the hydro ride, I'd say it is a decent value for your money because there's not many places you can fly down a hill in a giant ball!
We took our kids mr 11 and miss 9 and they did the hydro ride 3 times where you are in the ball with water and roll down the hill both loved it. Staff were very friendly next visit to the Gold Coast we will definatley return.
I bought my boyfriend the couples pass for his birthday through Red Balloon, which included the double harness ride and the double hydro ride. The harness ride strapped us both in opposite each other, to roll down the course (which was down the hill diagonally). This option was a lot of fun, for the more adventurous as you are turning around upside down quite quickly. There was no harnesses in the hydro zorb, just us and some water. This was a different course, going straight down the hill instead of diagonally. Was so much fun and a lot of laughs as we were thrown off our feet and knocked around. The experience is like that of a water slide. Before we left for our holiday, we took the online option of booking a time for our experience, which is recommended for the peak season. Because it was late February, we didn't need to do this as we were the only ones there. We opted to go at 10am, so we could return to surfers and still have majority of a day to spend there. Ozball offered transfers twice daily from dreamworld, but they weren't until 10.30am or the afternoon, so we had no choice but to get a taxi - which cost $60+ from Cavill Ave. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. They even took photos for us after we were done. When we were quite literally stuck once we finished, they offered to drive us to Dreamworld which was much appreciated. Unfortunately the next bus from dreamworld to surfers wasn't for 2 hours, and we didn't have our dreamworld tickets with us - so we had to get another $60+ taxi home.Because of our poor organisation with lifts, the amount spend of the experience was not worth the time we got. Each zorb takes no more then 30seconds to get down the hill, which was disappointingly short for what we had paid for it. The experience was great, fun and definitely something I am glad to say I have done, though you should get more for your buck! I recommend hiring a car or booking a time that coincides with their transfers and the buses to Dreamworld, or to take your dreamworld tickets to go afterwards!
We visited Ozball with our 2 children, aged 7 and 11. We all did a combination of harnessed (dry) and wet rides. In the harnessed ride, you are strapped to the inside of the giant ball either alone or with another person (there are rules about how many people, what weights, etc). In the wet ride you just climb into the ball, there is a little water already in the inside of the ball and then the ball rolls down the hill - the sensation is a bit like a waterslide but a lot faster. The sensations you get from the 2 rides are a little different, the harnessed ride being more suitable for thrillseekers and those with a strong stomach! The wet ride is more of a "fun" experience, and more suitable for smaller children. My kids thought it was "awesome" and better than the theme parks. When we went there we no queues or crowds. It is relatively expensive, compared to other attractions on the Gold Coast, but worth it if you are after a totally different type of fun.
