Unfortunately this shop closed in late 2010/ early 2011 which is a shame, because from all accounts it was a nice place to visit.

This is a little gem of a place, tucked away in Creswick VIc, about 20mins drive north of ballarat [ http://www.ballarat.com/creswick ]. The owners/hosts serve the most delicious scones and pies. And you can easily lose yourself of a morning nosing in the shop and enjoy a welcome snack or meal. A friendly cosy place which we visited a couple of times during our stay. If you are staying in Ballarat, we certainly recommend a visit to Creswick, a long weekend preferably. Lots to see and explore. The Koala Park is a misnomer though. There certainly is a very large park and ideal for a peaceful, energic walk, but no Koala's. When asked we were told they had 'disappeared' long ago.
