Both All Saints and St Leornards wineries are amazing! I highly recommend to those who appreciate fine wine, breathtaking scenery and professionally managed establishments. The music played by singer/songwriter Krista Polvere was so relaxing and peaceful. Listening to her sing while admiring the natural beauty of the landscape was totally bliss. As it often happens, I missed the shuttle bus on the weekend (Tastes of Rutherglen) at St Leonards. After a few unsuccessful attempts of getting a ride back into town from fellow wine buffs, two nice girls agreed to give me a lift.Upon chatting to them I realised they were the owners of the winery (Eliza and Angela). They were both so friendly and happy to help out....Very genuine and kind souls. Thanks for everything!:)
We visited St Leonards as part of the Tastes of Rutherglen winery tour. After a wonderful day visiting different wineries we opted to skip one of the places in order to make it to St Leonards before close. What a mistake. We were able to find a space at the counter and got the attention of a lovely older lady. She did a great job explaining the wines and offering tastes. During our tasting a younger blonde woman who appeared to be her boss advised her to pour a lot less in our glasses, despite the small serves to begin with. We continued with the tasting and nearing the end my partner advised me he would purchase the Durif as it had been the best we had tried. Considering the tiny taste we were given, he asked the server to have another small taste before purchasing. Without even glancing at us, the blonde boss woman said ‘Really? Another?’ in an extremely rude tone. Our group of 8 overheard the interaction and we promptly left the tasting and moved straight to the bus stop. I’m not sure what compelled this woman to tarnish St Leonards reputation in such a way but it was a very upsetting end to an otherwise perfect day.
We had a fantastic experience at St Leonards. The wines were excellent and only surpassed by the outstanding service we received from Jenni. The cellar door was very nice, with lush grass areas just outside. Thank you for an excellent experience, we look forward to visiting again.
A lovely setting for a very pleasant way to spend New Year’s Day .. we arrived early enough to find a table and settled in for lunch and to listen to Krista Polvere over a couple of hours, who was a lovely singer and we bought a couple of her cds.Food was available from a ‘cabin’ with a limited variety for a non-meat eater, however the frittata was very tasty. Service wasn’t great and it felt as if the staff were all hired for the day rather than being winery staff (the person I asked about the location of the toilets didn’t know where they were)? Also a similar feel in the cellar door where only one of the two staff members seemed to ‘belong’ to the winery?Take some time out between the music sets to take a walk out of the gates along the Murray River. All in all, a good spot to listen to the music and enjoy some lovely wines.
The wine was nice & reasonably priced. The lady who served us was lovely & gave us tips about where to eat in town. The views out the back were stunning, it would be a great place to sit back have a drink & a meal & enjoy the views
Dear Rachel,Thank you very much for your comments following your visit to St Leonards Vineyard. This should definitely not have happened. We conduct regular team training that includes making customers feel relaxed and welcome immediately upon entry. This issue is very concerning for us and we have begun the process of following it up with the team to make sure this does not happen again. Thanks again for your comments and we hope you visit us again soon. Best Wishes,Eliza, Angela and NIck.
Once a month on Sat when there is music sitting out on the grass great views overlooking the vineyard & the Murray river with good quaffing wine and acceptable food. The most enjoyable experience visiting the wineries.
Dear Sue,Thanks for your review following your visit to St Leonards Vineyard. We are sorry you didn't enjoy your platter. We have actually been doing some work on the menu at St Leonards and have recently launched a new menu with our 1 hatted chef (from All Saints Estate), Simon Arkless now creating the dishes. The feedback has been terrific! The menu is available on our website including our events and line up of gigs for Music on the Murray which takes place on the first Saturday of the month. We hope you can come back again soon and enjoy Simon's amazing food.. and with the sun shining!Best Wishes,Angela, Eliza and Nick.

the set up the smells and the wines. what else can i say. this is a gorgeouse place to visit.
Nothing to dislike about St Leonards - just great wines in a great setting with staff that couldn't be friendlier. Not to be missed if you're in the area!
I took my 2 daughters and my grandson for lunch there on the 30th Dec. The atmosphere was delightful, the toddler well catered for with room to roam, a table equipped with pencils and coloring books, very reasonably priced wines, wonderful food, and very pleasant staff, what more could we want! a very special day had by all.Noreen Jacobs
