wish we could have gone everyday!!!Having the money put onto wristbands so you don't have to carry it round is a good idea too!
Thomas cook do not sell it but it was great, lots of slides and pools and cheap food. Also, free shuttle bus is included in the price of 30 lev per person which is less than what you pay for a day at thorpe park for one person!
Had a lovely day here with my hubby , 2 daughters and a few friends.Place was very clean and loads to do never seen my girls..Food and drinks were a good price.Liked the fact you didnt need to carry money around you got a band for your wrist and when you bought anything you just swiped the wrist band and it came off you credit gave you a receipt so you know what you have left and you can top up if you need to, and you get your balance back when you leave, lockers very cheap for the day.We went the last week of the session was too busy but still have to wait for ages to get served for food would be a nightmare high session but they maybe have more staff then.
It was my dream always to go to the big aqua park. And this park was excellent choice! Not so expensive and with amazing emotions. If you want adrenaline go to the Tsunami - at least once! :) The park is organized very well - you get electronic 'watch' which you charge with the money and if you are buying food/drinks they take the money from the watch. On the end they are giving you back money which left.Save the whole day for this visit!
Got the free bus from sunny beach, we went on the last day of the season. Slides were really good. Park was clean and the food was nice and made fresh. Great value for money
I liked the park and amenities, the weather was bad, and there was a power shortage of 1 hour, when nobody told us anything, and we were just waiting around to guest what is going on.
i have not taken children to this park before until a few weeks ago.....2 x twelve year olds 1 x nine year old and 1 x 8 year old and all were charged as adults so in my opinion this is a usual Bulgarian RIP OFF...other than that a fab place....
Best waterpark we have been to and should we ever visit Bulgaria again we would definitely go back a few times!
Had a fantastic day at this waterpark. Adults 38lv Kids 19lv. kids over 1.3m classed as adults.Free bus from top of sunny beach, Luckily we were 1st pickup so got seats on the bus but once its stopped a couple of times its standing room only!!!!! Get tickets in advance like we did otherwise you could be Q ing for sometime to get in. Waterpark works as a cashless system so you get given watches which you have to load money onto BEFORE you can purchase anything so don't do what we were told to do and think you pay at the end when you hand your watch back. We Q for food only to be told to put money on watch 1ST!!! so had to leave the q and go to put money onto watch then go and q again :(. The Q for some off the rides were horrendous but its got to be done.... Overall had a great day and would definitely return if I returned to Bulgaria
never mind the haters or stuck up idiots! pros: worth the money ( about 15$/ 14€) many slides, all really fun, specially the tsunami and the ones where you feel like you fall through a drain. The place was decently clean and has a RFID based payment system for shopping inside the parc which makes it safe. we had a great time and would go again.cons: 2 slides were not perfectly even surfaced so when sliding on them you could feel the uneven surfaces which is not great, not a huge deal but this was the hangup I noticed.of course there are lines it's a water parc and like any amusement parc, guess what-to the guy who complained THERE ARE LINES. they do take maybe 7-8 minutes to wait but again no big deal. BTW the lines were only at the 2-3 of the coolest slides; the others were common sense long just like any other parc. did not eat there because that's what restaurants are for, this is a WATER PARC. ( other people were eating fast food type of grub which looked decent). Staff was ok but we did not really interact much because we were to busy HAVING FUN!!! they do close the slide cca 25 minutes before closing time which was the main disappointment but I guess they have to in order to allow everyone time to shower, freshen up etc.Had an awesome time, would go again.
Visited the park twice during our stay. First visit it was very quiet, clean and well organised. Thought wrist payment was brilliant (popped 50 lev on two wrist bands and picked up balance at end of the day) food reasonably priced and loads of choice. Free bus worked well. Second visit 3 days later and was very very busy hard to get inflatables and lots of pushing and shoving but still enjoyed the day. Fab slides etc and plenty to keep you busy.
Didn't like using the wrist band to pay for things in the park as we weren't sure how much to put on at a time , so keeper on having to top up .
I stayed in Sunny Beach for a week in August 2014 and I visited Aqua Paradise in Nessebar during this period. I admit that I am an aqua-parks enthusiast and I visited a couple of them in Hungary and Spain so far and the way I will describe Aqua Paradise is in regard to those. They offer free transport from the neighboring resorts, which is nice. The entry fee for a full day is 38 LEV and they don't offer discount for students. Food and drinks are not aloud to be brought inside, except for fruits and water. They check your backpack when you get in. The locker costs an extra 3 LEV (with an additional 5 LEV deposit in cash) and the safety deposit box costs 5 LEV. The food and drinks you buy inside must be paid with your bracelet, which you should charge when you get in (you will get the rest of unused money at the end of your visit). The prices of food and drinks are average and they offer pizza, durum, sea food, hamburgers, pancakes and ice cream.A small incident that I had: after I got in I deposited all the cash that I had left on my bracelet. Then I wanted to rent a locker, I scanned my bracelet to pay 3 LEV for it, and I was ask a 5 LEV deposit in cash, which I didn't have. I left without a locker key and I decided not to take a locker anymore, but I was still charged the 3 LEV for it.And now about the slides: they have some very cool slides that I didn't see anywhere else (Tsunami for example). They have many rafts rides. It is great that most of the time when you wait in line you are inside the castle, in shadow, and not in the burning Bulgarian sun. A minus is the thing that people are not aware that they should give the raft to someone else waiting for it after the ride and they keep it even if you ask them for it. Some of the staff tried to solve this, but they were too few. This didn't happen in any other aqua park that I visited. The slides stop at 18:00 and the park closes at 18:30. They offer free rides back to the neighboring resorts. I would visit this aqua park again.
Fantastic Waterpark with lots of the latest slides. Spotlessly clean with cheap food and drink. Booked as a Thomson excursion as not really any cheaper if you go direct. Worth noting though that minimum height for all the main rides is 1.3 metres .The rapids are also pretty fierce so I welcomed the life jacket for my daughter . When the waves were switched on for one of the lazy rivers even the adults were screaming !! Also some of the walkways were perilously slippy...
Spent a great day here today, all ages of children and adults catered for. Brilliant thrill thrides as well as relaxing ones. Nice pools for swimming in too. Good choice of food and drinks. Plenty of umbrella'd, shady sunbeds for everyone that you didn't pay extra for. Wrist bands topped up with a credit card as you enter the park, so that you can be cashless all day. Variably working credit card machines, so be sure to take cash for entrance fee or debit card to use at the park. We got there at 0940, park opened at 10, and this meant you could get on all the tyre and non tyre rides easily without queues. No queues at 12.30 either whilst everyone had lunch. Extras (paid for separately) include a fish foot spa and massages. Crew visible, plentiful and helpful. You can enter the park at lunchtime for half price, but queues longer then. Also a live concert every day. We stayed for 6 hours and loved every minute of it. Thoroughly recommended.
