Very nice golf course and clubhouse. Staff is friendly and helpful.Nice practice range and 2 putting greens. Off the beaten path, but worth finding!! Challenging layout, but fun!

I do not golf and wished I did. I do understand golf fanatics because I am the same way for my favorite sport (Ice Dancing). I do support golfers. I have had occasion to meet people here and am not impressed. Very snooty, unhelpful and generally extremely rude and unhelpful to people they perceive as from out of the area or non-golfers. If you ask a question, and they actually answer it with words instead of gestures, it is a one word answer or two at the most.

The Fields is a links style course that has been around for close to 20 years now. Fairways and greens are amply wide. Once on the green is when the challenge starts. Breaks are very subtle. The greens may also be difficult for higher handicappers to keep their ball on, they are very firm and not receptive to long Iron shots. The rough can be brutal in the summer months when burmuda is at its best. Attractive course and enjoyable to play. Has Driving range and an excellent putting green. Rounds are normally at a fast pace. Very accessable by highway, I -185 and I-85 just off Hwy 27. Very affordable
