Mortimer Family Farms has fresh produce at the best prices. We have never been disappointed with anything we have bought there. They also have other things going on through out the year so you will need to check back often.

Second time visiting the farm during pumpkin season.This Year they include the haunted hay rides and many other fun activities to enjoy include with admission.Family friendly,relaxing environment. The workers were welcoming, and cheerful.Were making visiting the farm a tradition during October.

The good: Cool getaway up towards Prescott when the weather is still hot in Phoenix. The Halloween/Pumpkin patch festival is nice. Bounce houses, rock climbing wall, bungy things, hayrides, horseback rides, etc.The bad: In the three hours we were there we saw 3 kids get seriously injured, two in the sheep riding pen and one was bucked off her horse because a guy driving the hayride wasn't paying attention and spooked her horse as she was going up a hill. Most attractions (including the sheep riding) were staffed by kids who paid little attention to what was going on at their rides.- The selection of food wasn't that great

We visited on a beautiful cool breezy day. The rides for the children were fantastic. We went on a hayride with farmer buzz. He was so informative and delightful. He let all the children drive the tractor, under careful supervision of course:)

This farm offers hay rides and seasonal events such as a corn festival and a pumpkin patch. There is a store and tour of the farm are available. Everything in the store is grown by the family. They hosted a business meeting that I attended and often do weddings and party's. They catered the food and it was great.

Mortimer's Country Store is more than just a store. The Mortimer family runs the business and does everything from grow the food they offer for sale to hosting festivals. Produce is grown on the property and a large portion of the garden can be seen as you enter the country store. They offer hay rides and educate visitors about farming and ranching in the area. They have several festivals during the year including a sweet corn festival and pumpkin picking. There is one fee for admission into the festivals and it includes rides and games for every age. You can purchase the produce that they grow on site from the country store, including corn, tomatoes, onions, watermelons, and much more. They also have a bakery where they make fudge and pies all from scratch. If you are in the area I definitely suggest you stop by to see what it is all about. They also have other local gift items such as jewelry, soaps, and canned goods. They do weddings and large group events. I went there for a work meeting, and they took us on a hay ride and made us lunch from ingredients grown on the farm. It was great. There is no fee for the store and to look around, but there are fees for the festivals and hay rides. There are always friendly people there to talk to you about their operation. The master gardener was there and answered all of our questions about what they were growing.
