If you need a place to take the entire family for fun at Halloween, Sonny Acres is the place to go. Pumpkins galore along with rides,attractions, a petting zoo, food, and a haunted trail ride.

I love Christmas trees, love them. When I was a kid my favorite part of Christmas was going out and picking out our tree. My husband is a true city boy and has not allowed us to have a real tree in the house for at least 15 years. I finally convinced him that we should go there just to by garland for around our front porch. They had such a beautiful selection of trees, we went home with a wonderful Douglas Fir that HE picked out. They offered free hot cider and did a fresh cut on the tree for us. They then bailed the tree and put it on the car for us. We left there so happy, my husband said we will be going back next year for our tree! I just want to thank the wonderful people at Sonny Acres for converting my plastic loving husband into a real tree fanatic like me!

By far the best Halloween/pumpkin place around and Ive been to 4 other so far. Expensive family outing, ( but they all are about the same price) and they could use a ride or two for older kids (8-10). I think they really capture the spirit of fall and Halloween in a way that others just don't. Even though there are closer places to my house, next year its Sonny Acres for us!!!!!

Sonny Acres has a good variety of fun things to do for the whole family. There isn't an admission cost but there is a cost for the rides featured. There are also food vendors and a Halloween store and some farm animals on the property. The evening's haunted ride (extra ticket price) through the wooded area is also a treat with surprise scarings along the way. We have visited it for the last 5 years with our granddaughter and she gets a fun tattoo on her face every year. We would recommend it for a day of fun for everyone in the family during the Halloween season.

Been taking the kids here every year since they were toddlers. The activities we enjoy have evolved from the carnival rides and pumpkin picking to the haunted hayride and haunted house. This is a very expensive outing though. We spent $100 on hayride tickets, haunted house, dizzy zone for four people. Note the kids went through dizzy zone and haunted house twice. Fun for kids, absolutely. Not so fun for wallet. Also just a heads up: cash only. They do have ATM on premesis though.

My parents used to take me to sonny acres when I was little. Now I take my children. The go full out with decorations at Halloween! You can take your kids pictures by various different signs and figures. I live taking their pictures at the same ones every year so I see how they grow. Awesome apple cider, cotton candy, and fresh kettle corn. Rides can be pricey, but you only go once a year!
