olive black martini & wine lounge

So I was here on a date and we both ordered a drink. Both very happy with our drinks and then we ordered food...we ordered the pork tacos flatbread and the waitress recommended spinach and artichoke dip. Spinach and artichoke dip came first and it was ok. The flavor was good, but it was smothered in way too much cheese. It was almost too thick of a layer to get through to the actual dip. Although it was tasty once we got to it. The flatbread was described as shredded pork with a scrumptious queso fresco and fresh mango salsa. Sounded amazing!! When it came, it was nothing but a BBQ pizza with a couple minuscule pieces of pork, lots of bbq sauce which I don't even like and yet again a thick later of mozzarella cheese which overtook the flavor of everything else. I was utterly disappointed, but wasn't about to say anything as my date was fine with it. Also our waitress didn't appear to have much knowledge about the wine or beers on the drink menu, just what her preferences were. Gladly I tried both wines I was interested in, because the one she recommended I did not like at all so I ordered the other. I've been here before and have enjoyed it very much, although I've never had food here. I'd be hesitant to order food here again which is sad because everything sounds so tasty that's on the menu. If only I'd gotten to try it. :( Sad to have this poor experience at such a great martini lounge!

Date night special is well worth the trip. Drinks and snacks for 2 at an exceptional price. Plus, they usually have entertainment.
