We visited for lunch on a Sunday and enjoyed the nice atmosphere, view and friendly service. There was a mishap with our food taking much longer than usual to be ready and without us having to complain about it our server apologized and brought us a complimentary cup of clam chowder and crackers for the kids to tide us over. The manager also took the initiative to apologize and gave the children complimentary fish food which made them very happy.Once we finally got it the food was very good, I didn't high very high expectations for the Cuban sandwich after learning that it was pre-made but it was very good. The rest of the family enjoyed their meals as well.
Wonderful staff offering a great dining experience Waiters Dave and Josh are fun and manager Kim keeps the atmospher light and friendly
I always enjoy bringing our friends from out of town to the Tiki bar , it has a great view good entertainment all thou the food could be better that is not the managements fault considering they went corporate and have to keep a strict budget .. But that won't stop us from going back
I always make a point of stopping by and spending a day at the Tiki Bar whenever I travel to the area. The food and drinks are always good but the laid-back atmosphere and extremely friendly service are the real things that draw me to this great place! Chase the bartender made us feel like old friends and took care to ensure everyone at his bar was very satisfied with their orders. I highly recommend the ahi tuna tacos and any one of the wide variety of frozen drinks that are offered.
I stop by here when ever I'm in town Great local atmosphere good drinks I would have given this spot 4 or 5 dots but I have to say the food was not as good as it used to be and I hope that mgt reads this and picks it back up Don't get me wrong the food is good but when you are used to a standard at a joint and they don't give you what your used to you feel let down all that said I still will stop by next time I'm in town
My favorite thing about this place -- the atmosphere, the fact that they cook up your fresh catch of the day, and the sweet potato fritters. Nice place for a drink and some appetizers. Go feed the ducks and pigeons and fish out back afterwards, too.
The relaxing atmosphere made it worthwhile. Fresh fish selections, this time I went with the fish tacos and decent enough. Great lunch spot - get there early to beat the lunch rush.
Good selection of fish dinners. We had Ahi Tuna tacos, Mahi Mahi tacos and a crab cake sandwich which were all good. A few more non fish options would have made my wife happy. Sorry they got rid of Sweet Potatoes fritters which we loved. Only big complaint is on Saturday evenings during the the dinner time there is entertainment which drowns out any conversation. We liked the music but thought it would be more towards the later hours.
We were traveling down 95 to Stuart and decided to head east and drive the last stretch down the coast. Came in to Fort Pierce around noon on a Saturday and spotted a weekly market/arts & crafts fair. Stopped and shopped for a bit and then asked where we could find some good seafood. Several locals pointed over to the Tiki Bar and said they highly recommended it. We had oysters and coconut mahi mahi that were both fantastic!!! The garlic/bacon brussell sprout side dish was also amazing. The drinks were tasty, the live music was perfect (nice mix, great singer and just the right volume), and our server obviously loved her job as she took great care of us and did it with a huge smile. The manager (John if I remember correctly) heard that we were visiting from out of state and welcomed us and made sure that we had a great experience. Overall, this was a highlight of our trip and should we ever make it back to Florida, this will be a destination for us!
A local business owner recommended we go there. Great choice. We both had the fried Grouper Cheeks basket - 4 perfect chunks of Grouper fried in Panko crumbs with really good coleslaw and more fries than either of us could eat. Draft Ultras were $2.25 for 16 oz. The Grouper baskets were market priced - $16 on the day we were there. It was a cool windy night so the flaps were down. The Key Lime Pie was one of the best we have ever had, the portion huge and perfect for sharing, but pricey at $7. However, it was so good - we would have it again (see photo).
Nice stop for a fun beach cocktail... Off the beach but on the river. Mango daiquiri-like drinks come complete with beach umbrellas.
The bar is right on the water and has great atmosphere. It is also kid and family friendly. The local down town area is very nice and the town is making a lot of improvements.
