We are in our 60s and when much younger friends asked us to meet them there, we were a bit dubious about fitting in .It is a most unusual looking bar, sort of partly in the open air, partly covered. Their are a couple of old wild-coloured cars outside which look very attractive. Quite a big place when one gets inside. Need not have been concerned about our age group at all. So friendly and the drinks on offer are amazing. It's very lively conversationally; often having live music. Very good indeed. We enjoyed ourselves. Just behind where we were sitting was a rather loud-mouthed man and when he let loose an expletive, he was roundly chastised by the girl behind the bar. Good as gold, after that. There is no food on offer at Mahuffer's but it is refreshing that take away food can be ordered and will be delivered, to be consumed on the premises.There is a large semi-circular bar covering inside and outside needs and lots of tables and chairs to sit on/at.

If you're in the mood to get rowdy,raunchy and loud, this is the place. Nothing but fun in this this kitchy off the wall bar. Plenty of places to sit and "ornaments" ( bras and underwear, all signed by previous owner, of course) to admire. Definitely a childless place to let loose!

What a great place for fun! The classic rock band was excellent. The atmosphere is very unique. There are motorcycles in the bar, part of a boat, bras and panties hanging from the ceiling along the dollar bills that are signed and stapled to it. Very friendly staff.I'm sure this isn't for everyone but if you want a change from tropical music and drinks give it a shot! It doesn,t hurt!

This place boasts the worst food on beach. They lie. Food is good. Now lets get to the salad of the drink world. I ordered a Bloody Mary. OMG what they brought me was a salad in a glass. Asparagus, celery, olives. you name it I think they put it in there. It was so good. The atmosphere is crazy. Live music was very cool. Great laid back place.

Mahuffer's is a must see bar. It's full of random stuff (a/k/a junk). There is a yellow brick road, part of the bar is a boat, plenty of boxers and bras for everyone and a cat. The beers are cold and the staff is nice.

We were visiting Indian shores and stumbled upon this place..heard a band playing and decided to head in. Very fun atmosphere with panties and bras hanging everywhere! Dollar bills plastered everywhere with messages from people that dropped in! The orange shandy on tap is awesome! Staff is funny and very kind! If you are in the area you have to drop inside to check this place out :)

It's a magical dump of a bar! Funky as you could want. Get on down there and have a couple of rounds. You'll be glad you did!

This bar was aprox 5 mins from our accommodation so was a nice treat to go & experience a cold beer in a proper red neck bar, certainly no frills live C&W bands most nights-No jacket required..Their sales pitch is warm beer & the wurst food on the beach

Words can't describe this establishment, but it is a must see.This place is truly unique and a must see. One of the last rustic hold-outs with a great history. They advertise as the worst place and warmest beer. But the beer is darn cold!! Shelley - Ontario Canada

Great music, cheap drinks, weird ambiance, and a lot of fun! Only night that is no music is Monday, but rest of the week is a real hopping place.No food because they are pet friendly and have cats running around, but if you're looking for food, eat first and then come here. R-E-L-A-X!

Everyone has to go to Mahuffer's at least once in their lives. Words can not describe what you find on the inside but it is well worth it to go....just to say you went there once. trust me on this one. The prices are reasonable for beer and drinks on the beach. Toss back a couple, look around at all the strange sites and then wash your hands with sanitizer....LOL

Just a divey little bar with interesting characters, a really good band, and fairly inexpensive drinks/beer. We felt right at home.

Every type of person is here, come and mix it up with all the people. Beer from Coolers, Stuff hanging from all over, live music, great crowds.

Having come to the Indian Shores / Indian Rocks area for many years we must have traveled by this place a couple of hundred times without ever stopping in.So this was a "bucket list" must visit.It is the type of place you would expect to find"Quint" from the film " Jaws " hanging out in.There mascot is a large [fortunately caged] lizard & some characters directly out of central casting.I guarantee a visit will be something you will never forget.

The dive bar to end all dive bars. Walls are plastered with bras, panties, artificial leg, you name it. Cats walk up and on the bar. Definitely a locals hangout.
