1 month 3 weeks today i started Crossfit, I was a bit scared and intimidated by so much people telling me not to, i'm gonna get hurt, its not the best choice etc. I spoke to my mom and decided to go meet this dude Eduardo Colón, we did my first WOD then talked and went over what i wanted to achieve. I'll never forget at the end of our conversation he said "Stick with me and i'll get you where you want to be and even further"..Now i have to be honest, I left that day a bit skeptical but excited and anxious to see what would happen over the next few weeks. It was a lot of work and hard, A lot of work showing up every day and giving it all i have. Hard defending why i'm going to people still trying to talk me out of it or dealing with the smart comments.Less than 2 months later, i've already lost about 32lbs of fat, build muscle, in way better shape than i used to be and achieved about 80% of my goals. The only regret i have is that i wished i meet this dude much earlier.. lolI am extremely happy, excited and looking forward to the next 7 weeks.
I LOVE this gym. I can honestly say I've never had this much fun exercising! The coaches encourage you and make you want to come back for more. I used to workout at another Crossfit gym where I just didn't feel "at home" - CFOP isn't like that. You'll be on a first name basis with everyone at the gym within your first week. I've already seen tremendous, measurable progress in the 3 months since I started going. I recommend this place to all my local friends and family.
I visited a few boxes in the area, and this one by far had what I was looking for. The coaches were great, the people were fun, and the workout was tough. It seemed as other boxes didn't give me much attention because I was a drop-in, but these guys really made me feel like I was part of the family! You should definitely stop in!
