Fantastic. All kinds of items for sale, good entertainment and fantastic fruits and vegetables. We have been a few times now since we discovered it. Only one hitch was a very rude Asian woman with a heavy accent who told me to stop taking photos. I think she thought she was in Hanoi. Other than that, it was fun and well worth visiting more than once.
We come here yearly n love it every year. Need to take back an item, we will see how that goes. But I just love it!
We go on Sundays (last day) and get the best deals especially on produce ,delicious local tomatoes ,strawberries and more . If you like fresh fruit cups there is a vendor that sells fruit cups and coconut water etc , the sell so much that they are literally cutting the fruit as you are buying ,the prices are excellent and you can get all the fruits in your cup or choose what you want from mango, pineapple, coconut, papaya, watermelon ,jicama and more. Parking is just one dollar and they give you some coupons for freebies. You need like 3 days to see it all.
Wonderful way to spend a Saturday. Lots of exercise, people and good old fashion bargains. Garden fresh fruit and vegetables are available at excellent prices. We had never seen anything like this in New England and just enjoy talking to the vendors....who are from all over the nation and enjoy telling their life stories to anyone who will listen. This is a good way for people to earn extra income on a weekend. Products are new, even though they have a section for real flea market finds. Parking is $1.00 and admission is free.
Lots to see and buy some very good prices we are looking forward to visiting again we would recommend. It to anyone who is interested in buying anything from freshfruit. To used and new items or have something to eat or drink. While listing to a live band.
We were visiting Tampa and wanted to find a flea market. After searching on the internet we decided to go with wagon wheel which is near Mustang flea market on the map. I believe they are next door to one another. There were lots of fresh fruit and vegetable vendors as well as various items. We really enjoyed ourself. It costs $1 to park at the wagon wheel flea market.
As a long time resident of Pinellas County, FL; I have been going to this flea market for close to 2 decades and my family has seen it go through many changes. It is literally ten-acres of any/all kinds of stuff you can imagine. Vendors have everything from food-produce & seafood to cleaning supplies and clothing and accessories galore! I can still remember when the walking paths were crudely paved dirt lanes with haphazardly connecting tin-roof sheds.<- (this was nearly 15 years ago) Now many if not most of the rows are all connected and cooly shaded. We even brave the heat/humidty during the summers to find THAT deal on what we want. The food court, located near the center of the property features a variety of food choices, with a few stalls serving coffee and breakfast all day. There are even some open-air rows that have items ranging from name-brand clothing to antique coins and vintage tools. This place is always worth a few hours walk, no matter the weather. Parking is only $1 and there is LIVE-musical entertainment through out. Just be careful of walking through the drive-lane and there are strollers for rent for the little ones. This place is a-must.
If u want something fun t do on the weekends, the wagon wheel flea market is the place to be. There is so much to look at u will never get board. I promise u no matter what your looking for, u will find it there. Although it is truly hit there in the summer time, if u go early its pretty good. Dont miss this place
.......experience this at least once, however it would take you multiple visits to leisurely stroll through this enormous flea market and seriously see everything that is available. You can find nearly anything here, and it is worth a trip just to experience it even if you don't find anything to your liking. Small (believe it's $1) parking fee is all you'll be out.
This is a huge market on a Saturday and Sunday with undercover stalls and a huge outdoor secondhand sellers area. You can buy a Chihuahua on one stall and a gun on the next with everything else inbetween. Well worth a visit if you are anywhere on the West Coast of Florida. It takes all day to get round but there are plenty of bargains and food outlets to keep your strength up for the marathon shopping experience
This place makes for a fun day if you can deal with crowds of people. The outside produce area has an amazing selection of otherwise hard to find Asian veggies that are fresh and inexpensive. Try something new and ask one of the local vendors how to prepare it, they are always super helpful and friendly. Lots of treasures throughout and some new merchandise but overall a pretty fun inexpensive day.
We look forward to going to this flea market every November when we travel to Florida. The silver jewelry people called the Flying Eagle are the best. They are right before the food court in the middle of the flea market. They have the most beautiful silver and stone pieces you will ever see. They are also very nice people. The outdoor flea market has som really great stuff. We never go home empty handed. We have great fun looking for treasures. This flea market is open on Saturdays and Sundays.
$1.00 to park. The rest is free. Tons and tons of "garage" sale finds. We go for the produce. There are outside and inside vendors. The inside area is a little more expensive. The real deals happen outside. I get all my kitchen cleaning supplies here. My husband gets all his tools here. I love the fact that the outside vendors change all the time. My favorites are the tables marked everything .25 or 3 for $1.00. There's also a food court and a beer garden with live entertainment; usually someone singing to recorded music, country of course. This is a great way to spend a day.
We ventured here a couple of weeks ago expecting a small flea market and were amazed at how big it is. So many vendors so much to look at. You will find everything from the "I can't believe how great a deal it is" to " no way I'm paying that much." We even had an instance where vendors were competing for our business. Kids loved it. I loved it. Don't miss it if you are looking for a way to waste a day and find some bargains.
This place is humungous so if you are in the St Petersberg area, put aside and visit some of the 2500 vendors on site. If you can't find anything of interest, you didn't look hard enough....
