This was a great place to spend an afternoon with the kids. We had a really fun time and everything is so pretty even in the winter. We managed to get a great day at about 55° so the temperature was really fantastic for hiking.

The minute you pull into the area you know it is somewhere special. The trails are beautiful. There are interactive features for kids. We stopped by the Visitor Center and picked up back pack that held things needed to catch tadpoles at Matt's Pond.Just return whenyou leave.The kids loved it. It is dog friendly as long as they are on a leash.We spent a pleasant afternoon looking at the wilflowers and walking the trails. There is a completely restored log home on the property with chairs on the porch to sit and ponder the meaning of life.It was so pleasant to spend an afternoon without technology getting in the way. Highly recomend if you are in the area to make it a destination.Thank you to philanthropists who donate land for others to enjoy.Fee $8.adults $3. children.

This iis my family's favorite outdoor place in Cincinnati areaPerfect for walking with small children (mine are 4 and 7). My kids want me to take them here every weekend. They especially enjoy the playscape area.Also has a good visitor centre, and with very helpful and friendly staff.

Visited here for the first time this Fall. The trails were clean, clear, and very hick-able. Lots of ponds & lovely benches to take a rest along most all of the trails. It's a little outside the 275 loop, and worth the drive to capture some quality outdoor fresh air. The Nature Center was very nice inside with lots to offer. This is a place to visit for singles, couples, families, and doggies. Requires a membership or a friend with a membership pass. Definitely worth the value.

We balked initially at the $8/person entry fee. But in the end, given that we spent the whole day hiking Rowe Woods, we found this well-planned, beautifully mapped nature reserve a great value. Make sure to pick up a map; and get back into the "back country." Dogs welcome and treated wonderfully by the staff. Great day!

There is something of interest for nearly everyone, including your dog. Bring the family any time of year to experience nature, and learn a lot. Each season has a different feel and much to see, so wear comfy shoes and layers, to stay comfortable all day.

Lots of hiking trails, both easy to moderate to fairly difficult. There is a wonderful children's area where kids can built forts, play in a small stream area, run around and generally have fun. Often there are special art and craft shows in the visitor's center where coffee and tea are available. There is a very nice small gift shop especially notable for Charlie Harper and Rookwood items and children's nature books. Seasonal bird seed sales and plant sales. You can even get married here in a lovely setting. One of the best things about the Cincinnati area.

We love the Cincinnati Nature Center. Well maintained trails, distances and difficulties are terrific, staff are friendly and it's never crowded. We think it's money well spent.

Our family has a great time when we walk or hike the trails. Always new animals to see. A great learning experience for children. The trails vary from easy to difficult. Welcoming staff and clean grounds and facilities.

We were disappointed the letterboxing that was advertised on their site was not available the day we went in June, but my son & his friend still managed to have fun. be sure to borrow a backpack/net at the front desk to use at the pond. Lots of creatures and nature to explore. We saw a deer up close on one of the trails too. Many acres to explore...we only saw part on our 3 hour visit. The boys especially enjoyed the turtle and frog watching/catching. You just can't take anything home :) Pack a lunch for the picnic area and make a day out of it!

This is the best hiking in Cincinnati. While the trails are not hard by my standards it is definitely worth checking out. The patrons and staff have done well keeping it trash free and keeping it looking nice for the next person. If you are looking to reconnect to nature and enjoy a good walk this would be your place.

The CNC has everything for an outdoor experience! Walking trails that are instructive, some a bit secluded, some flat & wheelchair friendly, some more challenging. And there's the fabulous Playscape for children! There are 4 ponds (pond study equipment available), a lake, Avey's Run stream, a field, forests (including "old growth"), and vernal pools (spring). Weekend activities of all sorts that are educational and fun. I love it!!!! Worth every penny of the membership if you live in the Greater Cincinnati area.

We've been visiting and/or members for over 20 years. While still a great place for a peaceful hike, it's expanded to include guided nature walks, art shows, maple sugar demonstrations, etc. The indoor center offers coffee and tea, and a great little place to enjoy it and bird watch. A hidden gem between Milford and Eastgate.

When I lived in Cincinnati I was a member for many years. Now I visit as a guest whenever I can. If you like wildlife,waterfalls,flowers,lakes, creeks and miles of wonderful trails this is the place for you. To me it is the most beautiful place to hike in Cincinnati. I love the different elevations and well maintained trails. Family friendly but safe for a solo too. Wonderful classes and events are always going on and a staff that really cares.

One of the best places in Cincinnati to hike and be outdoors. Dog friendly. Lots of different family/kid activities. The playscapes is a must do for children. Bring extra clothes as the will get wet and dirty. Staff is friendly and helpful.
