This is a well designed skate park that is enjoyed by many local and visiting skate enthusiasts. Great area!

It is big and has a great setup of bowls and other attractions that go well together for bikes and skates. I would recommend it, but beware of the foul language.

Great for using BMX type bikes or skateboards. Haven't seen it overcrowded so drop on in. Located in a sports park with lots of open space, restrooms and playground for little sisters and brothers.

Awesome skate spot for kids, and even some brave parents. There's a close water fountain, and down by the restrooms there is a machine with gatorades. There's a nice playground for kids who arnt into skating, and loads of grass to run and play on.

It's fun to watch people skateboard. I used to skateboard in the 60s, its fun how popular it is now.

Already mentioned in the May 10, 2012 review. Nothing to dislike about this place. Gary even offered us complimentary tickets for bowling. Nice if you need something to do, but do not want to drive to do it. Thanks again.

Attached to the Running Y subdivision, the Skate Park is a very nice facility but it is outdoors. Although shielded, it can still be cold, especially for those spectating or waiting for their friends who are skating. They have plans for an enclosed waiting area however in the future. The only place to ice skate - very nice!

You'll hear it from your kids... "can we go to a skateboard park?" ..."please, please, please" Our advice: do it. I am not a fan of skateparks for many reasons, but this park is impressive. While not a boarder myself, I don't fully appreciate all the elements, but from those my kids have dragged me to on our travels, this is something you won't want to miss. Another to consider is the Penticton Skateboard Park in Penticton, British Columbia. The park combines three large bowls (aka swimming pools) among several half-pipes, rails, grinds and ramps providing 'gaps' to clear. Some of the kids riding were getting some serious air. It isn't skateboards alone - there were BMX bikes and skooters. There is no reason why you wouldn't find inline skaters too. I think the park would be considered generally 'aggressive' in its elements, so users just starting out will still have fun, but not like a skilled user would. We had read there was a $1 fee, but when we went, there were no admission gates or booths. The park is fully open and accessible. Parking is limited to gravel patches on either side. There is a water fountain, but no other means of hydration, nor shade from the sun or washrooms. We spoke to a family there when we were there who commented on how difficult it was to find the park -- it is located in Steen's Sports Park which is between Foothills Blvd & Upland Way. For those with GPS preference, the coordinates for your GPS:Latitude: 42°13'21.48"NLongitude: 121°43'54.95"WThis is a great opportunity for the kids to have some exercise and fun, in a clean environment. The older kids were generally respectful in both behaviour and language.Worth the trip.
